What a coincidence... our last trailer was a High Country 343RL... Liked it a lot except for the dreaded front cap fade and decal peel... Keystone would stand behind it on some but not all... We were part of the NOT ALL crowd. Took a hit on trade in value because of it too.

Loved the floor plan but with the kitchen, bathroom and 3 out of 4 slides on the left side of the trailer... it was about 800 pounds heavier on the left side. Ended up upsizing the springs because they flattened out on that side.

Looks like a clear water filter canister. Sunlight will cause alge growth. Should consider changing it.

Can probably just shoot some paint on it.

We are going for 305rl, if I could find a 2016 or 2017 used I would consider that if not we will buy new this one last time. It has three slides two opposing in the back and one for King bed up on drivers side weight is 10,300 dry and pin 2230 I can go 15,500 and 3646 on my F350 PS.

I like have a room of safety margin but will be getting air bags, Rancho steering stabilizer and we generally load light and balanced but one I get it and load it going to cat scales so I know where I stand.

IMO, it's all in your expectations. On holiday weekends, I expect a raucous crowd, some level of less than stellar manners, and a whole crap-ton of people. Keep your expectations low or join in the debauchery.

Usually, camping enjoyment is what you make it.

Add alcohol and you see things you never saw before, at least in my experience. I was at TLC Memorial Day Weekend, there were 6-7 adults riding on a Golf Cart with a Dog and I think the dog was the only one not drinking.

We pulled into a campground one year on the afternoon of July 5th. There was so much fire cracker debris, it looked like there'd been a confetti parade. I don't think any of the campers had made any attempt to clean up their mess.

I was very glad I hadn't been there the night before.

You must of been in Goshen a couple of years ago and seen Turbs and crew.

Ordered a new door lock after seeing how ridiculously easy it was for the locksmith to pick it. I'm not talking skilled insert the pick and feel for the tumblers picking...I'm talking about vigorously rubbing the pick back and forth over the tumblers til you can move the lock kind of picking.

So I looked into getting a replacement key for the one that I snapped off. Did you know that the lock that comes with most trailers only has 50 keys? Did you know you can order a set of all 50 of these, or that if you can prove you are a dealer get a universal master key (I assume you could buy that from an unscrupulous dealer without proof).

Holy smokes!

I ordered a new lock with 900 key possibilities that requires matching the keys to the serial number of the lock. $35, part TTL-43900-2006 from RVLocksandmore.com. No master keys exist.

Hopefully it will also prove to be a bit more difficult to pick. I'll certainly have more peace of mind knowing that my neighbors RV key will no longer have a good chance of opening my door!

I would rather just let them walk in and take what they want as opposed to prying the door apart and destroying the door frame.Insurance can/will replace stolen items quicker than major surgery on the coach, especially in the summer when we want to be useing it.All that being said,we have never locked the camper over the almost 50 yrs we have been camping, and never lost a thing.

Lol, don't know what Turbs looks like but this crew was literally off the beaten trail, if they would have flipped it would not have been good especially hanging on the side holding the roof, not a good site, it was in Timberland Lake Campground in Cream Ridge NJ, not sure Turbs would be seen there...lol

It's not my camper, except that we will not be using it for awhile. I head in for back surgery tomorrow... again. Always appreciate a prayer or two if you are so inclined.
thanks

With our trial period of fulltime in progress we found that leaving the range light on every night might be an issue... picked these up at walmart today. About 6 bucks for a pack of 2, added to bathrooms, kids bunkhouse and kitchen. Easy plug in, head rotates 180, light sensor, warm white led. Perfect amount of light now.
