So I looked into getting a replacement key for the one that I snapped off. Did you know that the lock that comes with most trailers only has 50 keys? Did you know you can order a set of all 50 of these, or that if you can prove you are a dealer get a universal master key (I assume you could buy that from an unscrupulous dealer without proof).

Holy smokes!

I ordered a new lock with 900 key possibilities that requires matching the keys to the serial number of the lock. $35, part TTL-43900-2006 from RVLocksandmore.com. No master keys exist.

Hopefully it will also prove to be a bit more difficult to pick. I'll certainly have more peace of mind knowing that my neighbors RV key will no longer have a good chance of opening my door!

Large flat head screwdriver and a hammer is all took to "pick" my lock when the cylinder broke. I was in quicker than trying to use my keys.

Coleman and other MfG's could make $ if they would only sell a factory setup, not sure why they don't, I guess Coleman likes selling those 1# Propane bottles, cheapest I can find them for is $2.25 each at Walmart and you can refill them!

BUT BY FILLING THEM YOU ARE BREAKING FEDERAL LAWS.... And I am SURE they are out looking for you! LOL

According to Coleman (email) it cannot be done because they use a HIGHER pressure than what the QD will provided so it will not work... Uh yeah... It sure does... And better I think..

Actually... you are not.
Refilling 'throw away' bottles has never been an issue.
Transporting AFTER REFILLING is against the law.

, Been there...didn't do that!! Last year at the rally, we needed our mattress replaced (warranty). Lippert called me and needed some #'s off the tag! DW ALWAYS tears tags off! Glad I didn't let her tear that one off. Made the mattress exchange much easier.

Backed the 340rk back into the driveway and unloaded it.. Washington DC trip is over.. Fridge stayed at 33 degrees in full sun on the back for mostly 85-90 days with high humidity.. This weekend will clean it up and start adding fans in the back to see if we get some improvement ..

Dometic fridges all seem to indicate 33-34 on the outside panel. I have a fridge thermometer hanging in mine and it settles at 40-42 degrees (unless you're in & out of it a lot), which is the normal range for fridges.
