Moved it from one storage home to another. Had been storing in my selling dealers lot. Nice people and great parking spot. Unfortunately, could only access the trailer when they were open. Place across the street was charging the same $ and now I have 24/7 access.
Looking into cost of putting in a parking spot at the S&B. Waiting on contractors for estimates. Need to excavate and remove dirt. I have a retaining wall on the side of the driveway that can be used for a parking spot. Plan is to dig out a 30x11 foot area and remove 2 feet of dirt..

Installed potable water pressure transducer, did some poking around regarding how I'm going to wire it for power and data logger connections.

[QUOTE=MarinesWife;1461156]Brought home our trailer! We were fairly certain we could get it in the driveway, backed up, and into the spot we picked for it. We didn't yell at each other once ... hallelujah! Now that we know where the turn spots are, the next time we come home should be a lot easier.

My husband pulling up with the new toy being pulled by my lovely 2005 Ford E-350 Van.

Our driveway it must go up backwards ...

Whoa, that's a long way backing up a drive. Good job. Nice looking rig.

We got all the camping gear out of the garage, sorted it, cleaned it, and put what we wanted into the trailer.

Kids argued over whose bed was whose.

Went to WalMart and picked up ONLY $90 worth of items for the trailer. My favorite purchase: the clear piece to go on the sewer hose. Wouldn't have known I needed it without this group!

Also got some storage items, include a long skinny one to hold all our pudgy pie irons and marshmallow sticks.

We take it out on Friday for its for first run. I'm sure my list will get longer. I'm hoping to get to Costco this week to get a mattress topper!

Turn it in for the lifetime warranty, but before that a beer bottle didn't let the fridge door close correctly so I spend Saturday taking the ice build-up in the freezer. It is a hassle to de-ice the fridge when the temp outside is 50.

Started to re-pack the wheel bearings on the 5er... discovered they were preloaded from the factory far too tight and showed discoloration... so now I wait for new bearings to arrive. In the mean time I re-painted the pin box and the frame section exposed under the steps... the cheap thin paint from the factory drove me crazy.

Lifetime warranty requires an annual visit to the dealer to perform a look over to keep the warranty in effect.

I've seen people in this forum quote $200. I'd rather just pocket that money and use it if something goes bad.

My friend has it on his new Roo. He drove down to VA to a dealer that is authorized by Forest River to offer a lifetime warranty as long as he pays annually to have it fully inspected by a qualified shop. He has a checklist of items that they go through and check.

So the lifetime warranty covers everything as long as you pay for an annual inspection? Could go either way on this depends on what it is in the fine print.
