Our 2504 is a 2016. Picked it up in February of 16. Last year I just left the kw1 water filter on the unit with no filter in the canister. When I dewinterized, I removed the filter housing and hooked the 2 lines together with a coupler. I also bought fittings to use the filter on the outside of the camper.
Today I put in and tested the new digital thermostat. Jay

Hey Jay gonna bug you again, how was the install on the t stat? Last week the huge swings in ac mode drove me crazy. Let me know if it "smoothes" out the temp range.
Thanks again,
Bob

Wiped down and cleaned interior of camper after hibernation and restocked what we took out before storage

Future installs include fridge vent fan to improve efficiency and add 2 6 volt batteries to replace single 12 deep cycle. Also Eternabond long roof seams and install upgraded bat wing antenna and wire for satellite

Plan to complete dewinterize this week with a wash and wax to follow, pack staples and check appliances for working order and fill tanks. Also need to weigh new TV and check hitch and hook up measurements

Applied Dicor self-leveling sealant to sides of spoiler after removing old sealant, applied same stuff to bathroom sink edge.

I hate working with that stuff. It gets all over the place, likes to thread and get on things it shouldn't, wants a very steady hand during application.

Nonetheless, got the job done.

Doing mods like that are great! I love it cos every one of them makes the camper a little bit more "mine"!

The thermostat install was very easy. Because I got the Coleman Mach it was a wire for wire swap. In my case I had 2 blue wires coming out of the wall, one went to the white wire and one to the blue wire on the thermostat. I just matched them up one at a time. I also used butt connectors instead of the type used by Forrest river. Also on my unit the thermostat was screwed on into thin luan. I would get some of those plastic wall inserts. The old thermostat used 3 screws, the new one only 2. I tested it out in all modes, works fine. Jay

Removed baffles from Suburban model G/E DSI SW6DE water heater and inspected burner chamber interior, all was well. Fired up heater and observed flame, all OK.

Want to add a visual port in door so I can see it burn with door closed.
