Replaced the plastic fresh water tank drain valve that the dog chewed off with a nice brass one. Then sanitized the tank and water lines.

Bought a door hinge to repair it. Pictures don't show it but where I bolted the Flex Guard to the hinge I put a piece of leather belt. The Flex Guard is sandwiched between the hinge and the belt so (hopefully) over time the Flex Guard will not be as apt to break at the holes with stress from the bolt/washer.

Can't believe the good luck. The spacing where the screws mounted the Flex Guard was exactly the same as the spacing between 2 holes on the door hinge.
SO MANY people have done that - seems the factory should just use a hinge in the first place!

Angry New Hole in 5er

Drilled a hole to feed RG-6 from outside up to our Satellite receiver.

Frustrating, since the 5er had a Satellite signal input... and it worked the first few times we used it... but now it is low on signal strength and startup on the satellite flips between no signal and low signal.

Oh well, at least there was a place to drill through the floor that was relatively easy to get to and comes out in the cabinet where the Audio/Visual equipment is... adjacent to the television.

Headed out day-after-tomorrow on a camping trip. This time, I will just snake wire up through the hole. In the future, I will probably add a RG-6 receptacle where the hole is.

At least I found the problem while at home... so I know I am at a spot with an unobstructed view of 110, 119, 129 and I am not at a campground wasting relaxing time trying to figure out why I didn't have enough signal.

Installed these Camco 42183 Screen Door Cross Bars on both screen doors and what a great difference it made. Dont understand why something like these are not standard issue. Very easy to install and seem very sturdy. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I just finished installing the same bar on our screen door... only 1 to do for me. I like it too. I bought it about 18 months ago... and just got around to installing.

It even makes it alot easier to pull the door shut when the screen is hooked to the outer door. I'm very glad I made this purchase.

We put 2 of these on one door. One in the usual spot and one up top to hang a towel on for drying. That towel up top also hangs over the window and helps keep the bright morning sun out if we want to sleep in.

Hadn't thought about that. But we also don't have any windows in our doors to worry about the light but I will keep the towel hanger idea in mind. Thanks.

Replaced the 1141 bulbs in the yellow porch light and front hook up light with LEDs. Went from 1.45 amps for each light on my meter to .06 amp for each with my LEDs. Went with 650 luminis, so they are a little brighter also. I also installed the first 2 of those LED light nights that look like light switches (battery operated) in 2 of my outside storage areas. I'm not doing it. Having it done. It's going a dark black/grey/silver wood grain. Very subtle grain.
Still might just wrap it....
the hydro guy is a month out, and $500...

I'm guessing you do not like fake wood grain
I pulled mine off yesterday and put in a new stereo head unit.

What did you do to your camper today?

Took the metal Venetian blinds down in the front bedroom . We rub up against the wall and they catch on our clothing so they were doomed. I had already pulled one completely off the wall once.
There is just enough room between the screen and the window for these stick on paper blackout shades.

I also tried my hand at tinting.

Nice ....I should have done that in our 2012 Shasta TT half the aluminum blinds were bent or missing pieces from hitting them or swinging off the secure clips at the bottom...

Stupid U Dinette gone, IKEA table and chairs installed. Now all five of us have enough room for a plate and cup at the table.
