LOL, you are the second guy who has his DW trained to do the lawn. Most guys I know are saddled with that job - myself included....

Though I will say that we have an acceptable to me division of work. I have outside and basement, DW has the rest of the inside work. Not sure who has the better list.

Finished up getting my water lines flushed and everything working on that end. Now, to get all that pink stuff flushed out of the ice maker!

I see what you mean as far as the 1" not being sturdy but on mine they gave two screws to put through into the handle to keep it from sliding. I didn't do that but will see if I end up needing to later tho.

Did another small change in living area today too. The radio/DVD over the tv (entertainment center) had space on each side of radio blocked off. Took the panels out and reused them to finish on each side of radio and ends of cabinet. Note: cut the panels with a utility knife, much cleaner than a saw. A little walnut stain dressed up the pine 3/4 frame around the top inside. Bottom was already finished. Still has air space over the top of the panels beside the radio for cooling. DW can use space for pics or nicknacks Kleenex box in opening to show scale.
It was also good I took the radio out. Factory had the DVD audio out line that goes to the tv audio in connected to the DVD audio in If I had tried the DVD it wouldn't have had any sound out of tv. Would have thought DVD was bad and a warranty issue. Wired it correctly and added an audio line from tv out to radio audio in to play tv through coach speakers

Cut a shoe holder in half. Hung up one 1/2 near the entrance to hold water bottles and other small doodads. Other half inside the bathroom for toiletries. One pocket per kid and husband. I get the rest. Haha.

Yeah and I bet that MFG on their videos claims they did a QC check 3 times prior to it leaving the factory. I had the same wiring issue in my FR Rockwood Roo 23ikss, all wired wrong so speakers in and out did not work right, amazing quality isn't it?

Ray,
1. First I used some rubbing alcohol on some paper towels and rubbed it up and down along approximately the middle of the slide (from top to bottom), to remove any wax, etc.
2. I measured the width of the slide, and put a small pencil mark at the top and bottom at about the center point (it doesn't have to be exact, but use the same distance for the top and bottom).
3. I used some string with duct tape to attach the string to the top and bottom, at the pencil marks.
4. Starting at the top, remove a little of the plastic protecting the adhesive tape from the back of the molding.
5. Beginning at the top, just slowly remove covering on the tape and follow the string to the bottom.
6. Cut the molding for the windows and at the bottom.
7. After you apply it, go back along it and push pretty hard to make sure it has a good seal.
8. repeat for the other end of the slide and for the other slides.
9. Wait about an hour before you use the slide to give the adhesive a little time to set.

Very easy and it took me all of about 30 minutes to do.

Another thing about the seals, make sure you use seal conditioner on them, so they don't stick to each other and stay pliable.

Mine work very well. Before, I had to go around and use a walking stick, with a rounded bottom to slide along the seals to get them to come out, when the slide was out. Now, this mod does it for me. Not a huge time saver, but it is one less thing I need to do, when setting up.

BTW, the slide mechanism does no more work with these, than it did as the seals were flipping outward (when they would actually do it!).

Disassembled the moving parts of my Equalizer, cleaned it thoroughly and liberally applied a coating of Slip Plate dry graphite lubricant. I left it to dry overnight and will reassemble this evening.

Ordered what I need to do this on my wardrobe slide. I "hated" flipping the side seals with a stick. Than you so much for this elegant solution.

Quality check and actual leaves a lot to be desired. Fortunately most of my issues have been minor so far. Although the dumb mistakes can be unbelievable. My post about my sink drain How many ways can you connect a sink drain wrong. Almost every joint on my kitchen sink was messed up.

my DW mows the lawn and i weed eat the lawn she does an excellent job
