Common site in Idaho not just with 5th wheelers but TT most have boats on back unless it hunting season.

I can't tell how many times I have been from jersey to Florida and back, and never saw that.

Pretty sure non-commercial double tow in FL is illegal. Five years of camping here and not seen anyone doing it.
However, like all things, there's a difference between:
Illegal
Getting caught
Getting punished

That is what I going to say! (Or something close to that.)

I'm sure the police just rolls their eyes sometimes when they see campers rolling down the highway. (Not disparaging the person towing here... just saying the police probably don't bother sometimes.)

Me? I'm a "git'r done" kind of person, however I would be concerned so far away from home.

We live in a area that Feeds several State Parks and lakes as well as Quad riding areas! I have seen Lots of 2X Towing be it 5th,TT,or even Flat deck to Flat deck trailers covered with Quads! They had to go through Many LEO active enforcement areas to get here,so they are either "Lucky or Almost Legal"! Youroo!!

That's exactly where I first seen it actually. I stayed around Payette NF near Yellow Pine, Pocatello, and the Falls & traveled all through ID into Butte & Missoula Montana. I seen many towing boats everyday. On occasion someone would have a load of ATVs.
Would love to go back someday.

When we ran over to Sarasota from Orlando for a few days I asked the camp resort guide if he sees double towing much and he said they get people all the time from mid-west.
It works out perfect since I put a hitch on the golf car. We unload the golf car and hitch the little trailer to it and my wife drives the golf car to the campsite. Fort Wilderness has the best setup with the pull off for unhitching.

With upcoming trip to Moab I thought it would be smart to add an outside fan to fridge unit. So today I installed the Valtera Fridge Cool fan Click image for larger version

I'm wondering why you didn't mount it up in the chimney?

It's to push air across the coils from bottom up or you can place it at vent on top to draw air from bottom. It's not designed for pulling air from chimney at all

Started loading stuff in the fridge and the rest of the 5th wheel for a long awaited 4 day weekend. From the stuff the DW made me carry, I'd think we were staying 4 weeks!

Will run the power and coax tomorrow as well as bolt the reflector on.

I scored this from Amazon as an "Amazon warehouse deal" for $1100 and change. Added the mounting plate and was "shipped for $1200 and change. Amazon description said it had some scuff marks on the reflector. I thought that worst case I could use my tripod reflector but I couldn't even see any scuffs. Looked brand new.

I guess I should have made myself more clear when I was referring to the chimney I was not talking about the flue on the propane side of the rig. I was talking about the venting area that runs from the intake to the exit on the roof commonly called the chimney. I have install about a 1/2 dozen of these but never in the lower area.

Sea Dog, our 2504 doesn't have the fridge in a slide, so we have one side air intake and a roof vent on top of the unit. So far I haven't had any cooling problems. Is it worth it to add a cooling fan in my case? Jay

If it's a Forest River You probably had to fix something that was broke!

You can mount it on top vent to draw air. Other options include coil mount, and even floor mounting. Looked at several fan installs online both top and bottom. This was the most str8 forward option for me

I have seen the same. Top/bottom mount. Biggest Benny with fans is in hot weather for helping unit cool. Makes heat to cool, too much heat hurts process.

What ever way is easiest and works, I had just not seen or done one mounted in the lower portion my reason for asking. They are a great addition.

Installed dual fans at the bottom on both of our Flagstaff trailers. Just wanted to have the air flow directed across the entire coil area instead of going up the path of least resistance as it will with top mounted fans.
