I take it you got the minor damage repaired on the '32? Enjoy the GoodGuys show.

Believe it or not, all of the black marks buffed out. The cracks in the paint and scraped up clear coat need a painters touch!

I've been doing a lot of stuff recently in preparation for a trip from SC to Green Valley, AZ and back by way of Albuquerque NM. About 3900 miles round trip.

Installed a tpms:

Installed a Progressive Industries EMS

Tinted a piece of acrylic and installed it on the screen door, so my pups won't tear the screen out at the first sign of a squirrel (squirrels aren't to be trusted!)

Installed the screen door grab bar.

Installed an oxygenics shower head.

During my search for the water pump, converter, and hidden fuses and breakers (I took off every panel with screws), I found a cabinet with about half of it's usable space blocked for no apparent reason. There was one cable behind it. I moved it back to give the war department more space. You can see the indentation in the carpet where it was, next to the war dept's peppermint soaked cotton ball.

Installed a levelmate pro.

Installed a CB in my truck.

This week I still need to sanitize the water tank, check the air in the tires, and complete the installation of my super duper high power thermonuclear directional wifi antenna and signal booster. There's a few holes in the basement that still need sealing up. Oh and change the oil and filter in my truck.

The weather isn't cooperating with me, either. Had a real goose drowner today. Hopefully my driveway hasn't washed down the hill into the creek.

I'm excited about the trip though, can't wait to get on the road.

Installed a RVLock V4.0 keypad with remote FOB.

Next up...to decide on the best TPMS option to go with.

I snuck in some items when I had a day to myself.......

Some non-pictured items... replaced the tv-to-stereo RCA cable, as the center post of one had broken off IN THE TV. Fished the broken piece out of the tv. Reconnected a speaker (not sure if I caused the issue or not, when getting in there).....

Added some auxilary power by the TV. Ended up deciding that the booster feed was a 12GA and fused at 15A. Being way overkill, it now runs the booster and my outlets. The outlets are for my media center PC (HDMI stick computer running windows 10 and Windows Media Center, which is what I run at home) and a pocket inverter to run the TV. Of course, my largest drill was a bit too small for the outlets, so I had to use a drill-rasp to wob them out a bit. Also linked them together to make wires go easier. I *tried* to run a dedicated circuit (wish I didn't lose all that time). Failed miserably.

Added a switch for the CO detector. Now I can shut it up when it starts complaining about battery voltage.

Added wiring for a second "charging center" and two tylt chargers. The wall wart is 12V, so I cut it off and tied it in to the 12V system. Basically I ran wire from the front passenger "charging center" around the front and to the other side, picking up the tylt chargers as I went. The wire just disappears through a hole, into the storage bays. I might have to hang a can/something under there to catch the extra wire so it doesn't get caught on things. We'll see.

Any idea where the net material came from?

I REALLY need to find a bunch of that.

Added a Wingaurd Wingman to the batwing antenna that came with our 2504s. Just sitting in the driveway at home I went from 17 channels to 18. Looking at the signal strength meter built-in the TV it rose a few points. I tried to pull in channels from Cincinnati about 75-80 miles away but no luck. There are a lot of houses (including mine) around me that may block signal. I know that VHF is line of sight not sure about UHF which this is supposed to help with. I ran some pre-install test at our local campground where the reception is pretty poor, when we get back there I will try again and report what I find. Jay

How are those new bat wings over the old style like this? Do they get that much better reception?

The Antenna as it comes can barely pick up uhf which is where the high def channels are. When I added the wingman to mine it made a substantially good difference.

Ok so worth it I am just not sure if the placement where my existing antenna is will be good for that one? I wonder if anyone has replaced my crank type with a Bat antenna like yours? I do not want to drill any homes in the RV, I already have Direct TV that works pretty much anywhere streaming from my MacBook or iPad Pro to my ATV in the 5th wheel.

Hey Lou, I still have a BUNCH of the black mesh.... slide on out W/B on the PA Tnpk and get off at the Bedford Exit -I'll give it to you!

Seriously, it's 1"x1" plastic mesh. I think it was 36" wide. Got it at Lowe's. Should be with all the other fencing materials. The green stuff I use is either 2"x2" or 2"x3" - also from either Lowe's or Home Depot. That was 24" wide, I believe.

Just to be clear, the antenna I have looks like yours in the photo. The wingman bolts on to the front of it. Basic antenna stays the same. It does need more room when it is cranked down. There are ways around that though.

Last night I ran a network cable from behind the tv (in the entertainment center slide) down through the slide and out to the back of the camper. Pretty much following the satellite and cable connections that were already there. In fact, I used the satellite cable to get my pull wire fished through.

It would have been easy if the installer hadn't ziptied the cables together where they met the bottom of the slide. I ended up having to dismantle my outside kitchen just to cut that one blasted ziptie. ARGH!

The plan is that I will velcro my pvc antenna pole (which has a 20db directional wifi antenna and an m2 bullet on it) to the ladder. The cat6 I just ran connects to a coupler inside a weatherproof box. The cat6 from the antenna/m2 will connect to the other end of that coupler.

I can take down the antenna pole and break it down into ~5' sections for transport. No holes in the roof, no new holes in the slide. I can hide the weatherproof box under the skirting (though I may put it right on the bumper for convenience). And I should be able to pick up wifi from several miles away.

Finishing it tonight, I'll post up pics when I git 'er done.

I also mounted the repeater for my tpms. At first I wasn't going to use it. There's a good chance I won't need it. But I'd rather add it in my yard rather than at a rest stop somewhere after I figured out I needed it after all.

I installed the Wingman on my Winegard Sensar (aka "Batwing") antenna, too. I found it made a noticeable difference. It attaches to the bottom of your standard Sensar antenna. On yours, it would point towards the AC so I'm not sure that it would work unless you can reverse the direction of the head. That may be doable as long as that doesn't then touch your skylight.

On this video, the Wingman install starts at 8:00.

TOWTA and I are now 1/2 owners of a 1997 Coachman Catalina 251L 5th wheel in Anchorage, AK. None of the appliances have ever been used and it still had the plastic on the carpet. Stored inside. No doubt it will have to have new tires, but it will not be towed as Mardy does not have a truck.
