Not doing anything to it. Trailer storage lot is closed for the duration of the Hurricane Harvey Houston storms & flooding.
Wishing we could go get it and drive it outta here till after Labor Day. City is locked down till then, at least. Sigh.

Herk,
The Pump does run.. I’ll get a 1/2 inch connector in the morning and with a short piece of hose and bucket of water.. check for priming..
Thanks for the suggestion..
I checked most of the connections for tightness and have had no issues with the city water side..

Make sure your winterization (antifreeze) line is not allowing air to the suction of the pump.

The dealer had to replace my pump and they found a pinched hose between the tank and the frame. Fortunately warranty covered it.

Was just doing some reading and it does state the main 140 decibel siren has battery back up so it will work for a while if I were to lose shore power.

Ordered a Honda EU2000i generator and 2 MicroAir EasyStarts yesterday. If the marketing works, I'll be able to get away with just a single generator to run the A/C.
I'm fixing to order Battle Born batteries and a variety of cables to hook them up. Kenny Kustom has been my personal mentor + guide. THANKS, MAN!

I hope I see your next post on if it worked or not. As is I can run micro, water heater, but not the AC on the genny I got (not Honda).
Hope it works out.

From what I'm reading of their marketing fluff (yeah, I know) and online forum accounts- it seems legit.
The only real question I have is elevation and the problem is, I won't be in any elevation until October when I plan to need it. We'll be in Albquerque at 5'000'. So, it'll be do or "die"!

I'm thinking Albuquerque at 5000 ft in October, you won't need AC. I know I've been there in April and it's COLD.

We were there in early May of this year for a few days. I'm trying to remember the weather.
Not needing it would be ideal. That would mean we would just need to run the generator to recharge the batteries.

Doug, Battle Born Batteries are listed at $899 per (12V, 100 Ah) battery?! They say they last for 10-15 years but is that really going to be worth it? You can buy a Trojan 27TMX (12V 105 Ah) flooded battery for $160 - $165 and replace it 3 times for that price. It would definitely be nice to not have maintenance-free batteries though.

I got a discount on them in exchange for blogging about them, so my price is less than that but still significantly more than a flooded or even AGM sealed battery. But, the PROs justify the costs for me:
- less maintenance/thinking
- they're happy not being fully charged
- faster recharge times (a lead battery can be quickly charged to 90% but that last 10% is much slower) which equals less generator use and more efficient solar use when I go that route
- deeper discharge (a 100ah = 80 usable ah vs 50)
- and less weight! these batteries are 22 lbs. each. I'm running maxed out/overweight and couldn't afford 500-600 lbs of battery in the trailer

Installed a Mopeka 024-001 propane level sensor on my R-Pod 171, and installed the LPG Tank Check app on my mobile phone. The setup took all of 45 minutes, even with my compulsive measuring and taking notes.

(shrugs) I don't know.
But in typical lead acid batteries, you shouldn't take them down less than 50%. More than that damages them. So while it may be called a 100ah battery, at most you can only use 50% of that.
