Ha! It’s only 1.5’ longer than this one. A heck of a lot heavier, though!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Dominos just dropped pizza and the inside is about travel ready for tomorrow.

The real trick will be getting my family on the road tomorrow by 8:30am!

That has to be double excitement! A new house AND a new camper. How much more will you weigh? Best of luck. Jay

Did a virtual tour of the Spartan. Looks like a really nice rig... Good luck!

I think Doug is having quite the BUSY day. You know, new rig PDI, kids running rampant everywhere, papers to sign, signing the BIG check, hooking up & readjusting the hitch height, taking pictures, making them "fix" things.....and then, transferring all the personal stuff into the new one. Not to mention setting everything up enough to get to sleep tonight. Other than that, it should be an easy day.

Holy crap, are you here watching?!

Still waiting on PDI fixes. Fairly short list and other than a water leak, it’s all been cosmetic.

They still haven’t swapped things from our rig to the new one. Sounds like they’re now planning on that tomorrow morning.

Sounds like they swapped that water leak you had over easily enough for yah.

So, you manage to swap enough over to have 'moved' yet, or are you still in the old house tonight?

Good one!

We think we’ll sleep in the new one tonight. No idea on the rest of the boxes and all that crap. We’ll do some kind of take out for dinner.

Whew! Long day!

PDI started at 10:45 or so and ran until 1:45.

We then did financing paperwork and sat around while they didn’t fix most of the things on the list (nothing major but still) until pert near 6:00-6:30.

And they still need to swap my steps and EMS.

We worked from about 7pm-midnight moving boxes and whatnot over from the old rig to this one. We stopped for some cheap Chinese delivery during that. The boxes felt never-ending!

The garage is absolute chaos and so is the kitchen, really. It feels just like when we launched to go fulltiming all over again.

PDI results and pictures over on this other thread:
http://www.forestriverforums.com/for....php?p=1750941

Video is on the family’s FB page.

Our new mod is the MoreRyde independent suspension and disk brake combo.

I'm currently about 180 miles from Grant's Pass Oregon which is the only other place that can install them. Traveled 250 today all by my onesies.

It feels strange to be here by myself. Hubby is having knee surgery on the 19th and can't miss his pre op appointments,. so it's just lil' ole' me.

The install begins on the 12th, but I wanted to get there early because there's a possibility of snow on the pass from California to Oregon Sunday.

They should be finished by the 14th. (I know that MoreRyde can do it in one day, not sure why they need three)

I also have to get different rims as we are going from six lug/6k axles to 8 lug/7k ones.

I'll share pictures when I get there. For any West Coasties who may want to do this, Henderson's Line Up in Grants Pass Oregon is the only place on this coast that MoreRyde trusts to install the IS axles.

We'll see how it goes.

I don't mind. We're a triple axle so our total is $11,620. 6k sets are a few hundred dollars less and 8k are a few hundred dollars more.

I know that it's expensive, but it is for both the suspension and disk brakes.

I’ve yet to read anyone who was disappointed by it.

I won’t lie- I’m hella jealous!

The seats are actually brown. They look darker in the picture.
