Anybody ever heard of this. And before you ask yes fresh batteries have been installed.
I would download an app for your smart phone and see if you can get it to work. I'm not sure how long you have had your camper but if it never worked with either of the supplied remotes since you bought it and you cannot get it to work with your smart phone then the issue will be the TV itself.

Some TV's have the ability to be factory reset/rebooted in the menu by using a sequence of the panel's buttons. Google it for your set and try that. Electronics be a fickle thing!

Started out thinking I wanted to update the TV sound bar. I wanted a Bluetooth sub and more power with the ability to adjust the tone so it didn’t sound like a 9 volt transistor radio. DW suggested we update the DVD player as well. Factory junk would skip and freeze. Would only play about 50% of the DVD’s we tried. Made the purchase. Got it all hooked up and turned on the TV. 30 seconds later it shuts of. Repeated this a few time. Unhooked everything tried it again. Same results. Unplugged the TV for about half an hour. Plugged it back in turned it in and this time it stayed on for about 60 seconds. Repeated and each time it stayed on less time. Hmm seems like the TV decided it needed replaced also. Purchased a new tv and installed it. Turned it in and now I have a completely up date audio video system in the living area of my 5th wheel. LOL

I think the old TV was for people with a short attention span. Or, it's the get outside and play model. Anyway, congrates on a forced update.

DW has ask for an easier way to lift the bed to get to the storage area. Has anybody seen an electric lift mechanism?

They make an electric actuator arm, get them in 12v usually. People use them on Halloween props and things like that. Usually can lift several hundred pounds. I've looked on eBay at them in the past.

Would heavier duty gas struts make a difference?

I added a TV dish!
We are heading out tomorrow for our first RV "camp-out" of the year, so I was testing our new Dish Tailgater. I took one of our receivers from the house and connected it to a TV in the RV. I then placed the Tailgater on an outside table and pointed the handle north. I had success within 10 minutes! I had a perfect picture and good sound. I am pleased.

You can always find something funny on the internet.

Found it and sent it to one of my supervisors. Liked it so much I kept it!
