Mdstudey, "Mountain Out", LOL, Now that is a phrase I did not expect to see here. You must be from the area AND your planning is great. August should be about right. A regular thing after the 4th of July and before October 15.

BTW, The mountain has been out the last two days. Holding my breath. We have been freezing the last couple of weeks.

You could use some split loom. Pretty cheap and simple to use. Provides some protection from objects and provides a nice finished look.

A quick internet search will find just about any diameter and length you need!

Last night, I removed the junk original loud fan from bathroom and installed a MaxxAir thermostatically controlled fan. Best thing I have done so far. New fan is quiet, has 10 fan speeds and I can set the thermostat from 72-80+. Factory default is 78, so I left it set there. Now, when the days warm up and air flow (breezes) are non existent, the 5'r will have a nice airflow to help keep things cooler.

What did you use to get the old sealing material and lap sealant off

Put on 2,500 miles around the south west going from Texas to Arizona to see the south rim. Amazing views of the south rim being there when it was in the mid 60s down to 18*F. Being from the deep south we were excited to see the snow and enjoy our time there.

NOTE: My 5er is not in this photo, it was taken from inside looking out.

Wife purged and organized our food pantry- it had been a hot mess since we moved in.

I sat where my desk will be and worked off of boxes and a lap desk. Itíll be tight and Iím not sure how to make a keyboard work, but I think Iíll be able to set something up. It was better than sitting in bed to work.

And I started a diagram for my battery bank + inverter installation. I want to do some things differently this time. Better protection of the batteries, less mess with wires, and the ability to add solar charging later.

What did you do to your camper today?

We installed the Slim Shade this morning. Took longer than expected, mostly because the last window was hard to get out and clean all the silicone around the edges.
It should help reduce the heat from the Arizona sun.

I took off the four tires that were on our new 2019 trailer and took them to get balanced. Had to make four trips as I only wanted to remove one at a time. Took a look at the wheel bearings and made sure they had grease. Had balance done at Discount Tire and they offered me a road hazard warranty for the tires. Only 12.95 for each tire. Dealer had offered me road hazard for five years for 475.00. I asked Discount Tire how long there warranty was for and he told me until they are bald. Big difference in price.

The very first time I changed out all 4 wheels, I also had to take them to a tire shop. I had to get new tires mounted + balanced. Rather than make 4 trips, I opted for a little extra work.

On each side, I took off 1 tire and then put on the spare. I then took off the other tire and left it on the jack. I took those 2 to the tire shop. When I got back, I put 1 new tire on and replaced the spare with the other new tire.

I kept my original crappy spare as I didn't plan on needing it for very long. (Read: a crappy tire would be just fine until I could get to a tire store.) My bet worked on the 2 tire events that I had.
