I have a question about bathroom vent, this last trip I noticed it was open when I got to Camp Ground I thought I had forgotten to close it before leaving. With return trip home it was open.

The question is do they vibrate open while traveling?

Thanks in advance for the replies

Washed trailer after returning from month long journey.

Took 3 hours to get the bugs from 8 states off the nose. Truck looks worse but it fits through the car wash so I'll pay the $8 to let them deal with it.

Now planning the next trip.

Well I found the problem and repaired, the wire to a 3rd solinode was off, the manuals shows to only. When I pulled the switch to replace it pulled a 12 volt wire to it, it was buried in there rats nest hidden. Got all the by pass working and replugged the wire in after I raised and lowered it with a drill took forever. I said to my self you can't have only 2 to run 4 jacks 3 yes but not 2. Had a few rum and cokes and figured it out. Thanks doubular for your help you made me think God Forbib. In the AM off to S.C. to pick up my new Concord, just a day lost. Thanks my up date.

Actually nothing today But I had to borrow a fuse out of the converter Friday to replace the one that blew for the tongue jack. Other than that my first weekend camping trip of the season went great.

Before my first trip with my new trailer I bought a fuse assortment on Amazon that covered all but a couple fuses both inline to accessories and in the panel. I then just bought the remaining ones from my local auto parts store.

I figured it would be like carrying an umbrella. It only rains when I don't have one.

I think the complete assortment cost me less than $20, including the 100 amp fuse I put online at the battery switch in case of catastrophic failure in the #4 awg wiring I added.

As an added benefit I now have spares for the truck. Two fuse panels with easily 50 individual fuses. So far none have blown but I'm ready.

The question is do they vibrate open while traveling? Yes some do vibrate Open/Close,if you had/have Vent covers it really would not matter, but Without Covers you have a Excellent chance of Wind braking the Lids off going down the road or just sitting open! Also Mr Sun Loves those cheap Lids to make brittle and crack! Leave a Vent Lid Open and a Rain storm move in and all your Towels will be used for Cleanup! MaxxAir Covers make Life so much Better! Youroo!!

Thanks in advance for the replies

I did the same but found out I had bought the wide blades, used mostly under the hood. When I blew a fuse in the cabin I found it was a thin blade or regular automotive size, so I ran out to autozone anyway. Finally, after I drove to the store and back and snaked my aching back along the seat to get to the fuse panel, I noticed that Ford gives you a spare, located on the top of the panel. I felt a little double dumb but everything worked.
