The 15 amp inlet is the Journeyman brand one on Amazon for about $16.

Note the inlet takes up about 1.25" into the wall and my walls were 1.5". Just enough space to bend the 12AWG romex up at a right angle. I did use a shallow old construction outlet box from Home Depot. Right size for the wall gap being surface mounted to the interior paneling.
Hard part was trying to find a hole saw of the right size. No go! Used many drill holes and a Dremel tool with diamond drums to cut and shape the hole through the aluminum and multiple holes using a small spade bit hole saw to get through the wood siding, again using the Dremel tool, this time with sanding drums. The inlets' rubber gasket made a great template, along with a Sharpie. I've found a Dremel type tool to be a great tool to make things fit well when you don't have the correct cutting tool.

Placement of the outlet was for:
a. Ease of reaching it by the table for coffee maker, heater, toaster.
b. Straight shot down the space between wall stud to the power inlet.
c. Expected and observed no other cables through that area to avoid.
Actually I lucked out keeping it near the main 30 Amp power inlet as there is a board across the studs for a secure mounting of the 30 Amp inlet. I desired to put it mid table on the wall but there was insufficient space between the table to the window bottom.
I think a Sawsall would have made too big and sloppy a hole outside.
Inside I used a jigsaw/sabersaw after drilling the corners for starters.
My other option for outlet placement was to drill straight through into the under bench storage area and put the outlet on the bench kickboard. Still useful, just a harder reach.
My luck, we had a helava storm 2.5 hours after I siliconed up BOTH power inlets.

Nice job. Have wanted to do the same but the PITA factor has kept me away!

Me too. I think I will have my local mobile guy do the cutting. I can wire it and place the socket on the inside.

Not exactly on the camper but for the camper. I finished splitting wood for the fall camping season and next spring. Should have enough.

Im doing the same, looks like the same plug I have, but was thinking of wiring to an outlet under the dinette.
I answered the placement part in another post but missed the the second question. This inlet does not have the short extension cord plug, most 16", like some others. This one had screw terminals to add your wire to. The ones with the shorty cord and jack state 13amps as they are 16awg wire.

I like the one you used with just terminal to wire your your own outlet. Iíll probably have time in the next few weeks to install.

What did you do to your camper today?

Does anybody know what this warranty covers? I have looked in my manuals and on the web with no luck. Armour Tek Protection Package warranty five years. I have a sticker on the front of my couch.Click image for larger version

No real idea, but sounds like itís some seal coating / paint protection. Maybe itís real, maybe itís just a fancy sticker that will leave a discolored emblem shape on the paint?

Washed the TT yesterday using waterless wash and wax. Love this stuff for a quick cleaning in the storage lot where water is not available.

The wife and I loaded up our clothes and groceries today. Heading out tomorrow or Tuesday for the Grand Canyon/Albuquerque Balloon festival rally. Need to get in to see the dentist 1st thing Monday to get an emergency root canal before leaving - doesn't not sound fun.

Which are you using? Iíve tried one product, but didnít seem like a good wax, difficult to remove.

Just got the 5th wheel back in front of the garage on the concrete after helping Mardy insulate and install 110v wire and receptacles in his new Baby Grand racecar trailer.

...and that's a wrap

Spent Sunday getting the TT ready to be winterized, removing all the liquids, toiletries, enough sun block for 2 solar systems and food stuffs. Since the 'ol girl is in for repairs on Oct 13th and I've a busy work travel schedule, my season is done.
In anticipation of next year's camping, got all the campfire wood into the barn, stacked and will be well dried for next year.
For the life of me....why does January, February and March go slower than June, July and August?

We backed it under the covered parking spot next to our shop. Next trip, the middle of October.
