I cut a tennis ball in half and pop it on the hitch when I'm not towing....HATE getting grease on me and, even worst, ramming my shin into the hitch....."SON OF A NUTCRACKER"

Unloaded from 10 days at Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and now packing for 5 days in northern PA.

Was 93° in TN when we left, supposed to be 46° on Saturday. Gotta love camping!

I've been unpacking and cleaning the last two evenings. Columbus Weekend was the last trip of the season for us. I'll be winterizing it this weekend and parking it in it's winter spot.

Filled all the fresh and gray water tanks in preparation for the tropical storm winds we will get in Murrells Inlet SC. We will tough it out as I’d rather sit in the TT in 40 mph winds than tow in it. If it gets too windy we will retreat to a mall or something.

Lol that's what we went through. 103° index in Louisiana to 32° in Nebraska.

X2. Came home a day early since it is supposed to rain all day tomorrow. Fixed a leaky compartment door and totally cleaned the compartment and the jack pads and leveling blocks.

Went camping in a FHU spot in the county park ($25/day) for a couple days for likely the last camp of the season AND to do a proper cleaning of the black tank. Several dump and fills and lotsa use of the magic wand to knock stuff loose.
Adding an exercise pad for the old dog. He'd lay on the cold, damp ground and be pretty gimpy getting up & around after. Made do with a folded over plastic tarp and section of rug from the TT.
Lost a shackle I need to connect my safety chains to the too thick chain loops on my hitch ;( Already replaced, Harbor Freight.
Retaining pin on a WDH bar came apart. Repaired that, getting a spare or two from Tractor Supply, Harbor Freight one I did get is smaller diameter ;(

Pulled out the electric heater to keep the chill off. 46 the first night, 48 the second, not sure what it will be tonight. Must be getting old, I don't like getting up in the cold.

Everything has some bad reviews. I've seen the exact same review on different items on one companies site. I'm sure there are some good reviews out there on the Vortex one.
