Problem is, that is the LAST thing I wanted to do. Right now looking on Amazon for a replacement...

Got some more cutoff disks for my Dremel tool and cut of the excessive aluminum trim edging front and rear of the wheel wells. The trim hung down 1/2" to 3/4". It was annoying from a craftsman finishing standpoint and I had to pad them to protect the new winter cover from ripping. The trim edge at the front and rear of the trailer also hang down but I stopped because I was down to only thin cutoff disks and got tired of replacing them. Next time I get out the air powered cutoff tool (bought disks for that, too), I'll trim those down.

Installed and calibrated the Level Up Pro that I bought from a member. I think I am really going to like this!

Used a variable voltage power supply fed from 12 volts to get the 3 volts needed. No button battery battery worries. See photo of what I used. Allows you to run almost any battery powered device from 12 volts. Good for up to 2 amps without adding secondary heat sinks.

Plus, I added a power shut off switch to the onboard stereo in the bedroom. Save a bit of power when boondocking without the parasitic draw of the radio. See the small switch just over the radio in the corner. Discovered the reason for super crappy radio performance! Neither the AM or FM had an antenna connected! Made a basic dipole for the FM, and a long wire for the AM. Both are now behind the radio, in the dead space in the front cap.

Also tied to the switchable 12 volts for the power converter that runs the Level Up.

Added into some of the poorly placed (or non-existent) light switches. Used wireless relays and wall mounted the switches. Stuffed the relay pack behind the lights.

The existing main light switch was located at the floor under the stairs to the bath/bedroom. Nice when entering in from outside, RPIA once inside. Used a SPDT switch replacement and made it a 2-way switch. Allows use of the entry switch and/or the wireless.

Bedroom switch is in the middle, over the bed. PIA to get to in the dark. Multi-switch unit as seen in the photo. Have one by the entry, one in the bedroom. Can control all 3 different sets of lights in 3 different places.

I might paint the switch assemblies ivory to match the other switches in the rig. Maybe another day.

Stuck a LED light switch from Harbor Freight on the bathroom wall. It's a flashlight that looks like a wall light switch. Now the grandkids can have a bathroom light at night. All the ceiling lights are LED and have a center push button for on/off. Not good for short people and kids! Gonna put another on the inside of the main door reachable from outside when you open the door. Normally $5, got them on sale for $3 each.

You may have to reinforce or replace the double sided tape that comes with the lights. Love these lights, but at least the ones I've purchased don't stick very well.

Boomerweps, get these and use the regular lights.... available in many configurations.

These are the 3 position switches with 3 separate remote controllers. This kit comes with 3 - 3 switch remotes. No batteries to run down if you forget to shut off. Remote switch has a battery, should last years. Can control 3 circuits from wherever you put the switches. Just stuff the remote relay behind whatever you are controlling.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

There are other units out there with separate keyfobs or switches for separate control.

What did you do to your camper today?

Loaded medicine cabinet, and began hand rubbing all of the wood with lemon oil. At least the shine up nicely. Installed curtains in living room.

I drove down to drop my golf cart off next to it, open up the slides and turn on both refrigerators. We'll be spending our first night of the season in it tonight.

Replaced my Kwikee steps. Bigger job than I expected but made a little easier with a cheap 2 ton floor jack from Harbor Freight. I still have to replace the magnetic door switch. The steps go out when they should come in. LCI supplied a new switch with the steps for just such a problem. The new steps are a lot quieter and sturdier that the originals.

Good idea, I have been needing something over my control center since it is in the dark at night, I might try one
