OC,
Where did you order your Awning Shades from? Sure wish we had a set at the CG in Mammouth cave - we had a clear view if the *West* horizon...made for a pretty bright afternoon outside

Had them custom made at Beasley Mfg in Center Hill, FL. IIRC around $75 for the main tube and about the same for each of the end panels.
Price was in 2008, so they no doubt are more now.

Didn't give them to Frankie, but IIRC you want it 16' long by 8' deep.

Does this keep the awning locked during travel?
I'm assuming its a mod?

Keeps the tube from turning while in transit. Yes, it is a mod.

Installing a remote cable for the galley dump. Until now, I would have to crawl under the slide to dump the galley tank.

Do you have any links/info on this install? I'd like to do the same for my rear sewer connections.

No links. I bought the cable one day and the valve adapter another. Finally got around to putting it all together yesterday. Finally, I can let the tank fill and dump it when I want to with slide out. No more slide lube on my back!
Total investment: $36 cable and $14 replacement 1 1/2" valve adapter.

Shoveled 'er out some more. Unloading left overs from the fridge.
FINALLY got all the laundry done yesterday, and started loading back the linens, RV dedicated clothes, etc.
Not much to do now other than vacuum and she's ready to roll again.

I have to hand it to Ms Amy. ....
She pretty much cleans the camper for the next trip before we leave from the last.
All we need to do when we get home is clean out fridge and carry laundry tote in the house.

I like doing what I call the "muckin' out" (no it's not that bad) at my leisure when we get home. When we're campin', we're CAMPIN'! House work waits 'til we're back home.
Granted, being such a small space, "surface cleaning" must be done daily; picking up, sweeping, etc. or it gets cluttered quick.
What I do when we get back home is what I call the "deep cleaning"....floors mopped, dusting, vacuuming, shower, sinks and toilet scrubbed, fridge wiped out, mirrors cleaned, etc. I don't use the stove yet for frying...blech!....so that just involves wiping down. I want to get a back splash (tiles) installed before I do any heavy cooking inside.
Said all that to say this; when I'm done I want Buffy to look like she's never been camped in before the next trip.
Whoever it was that bought "Francis" (the V-Lite) got a pristine, used for 8 months, TT, even put the original comforter (never used) back on with the original disposable pillows and shams, put the never-used RVQ back in it, and it came with the oxygenics shower head installed already.
(shrug) yeah, I'm OCD.

My better half does this as well, since we are both still working full time. When we get home the clothes and food are unloaded, and we are pretty much ready for next time.
For labor day weekend, it'll get loaded tonight or tomorrow along with a spider check by me (she hates those). The fridge was started on Monday.
