Today I pulled open the back of a cabinet to see what my wiring options were like for disconnecting the existing converter and running a new A/C line up to the battery bay for my lithium aware converter that I brought with me from the Sabre.
Also started scoping out a plumbing project for the washer/dryer (it still is plumbed to the black tank).
Oh, and had an incident with the sewer bladder. It fell off the tailgate onto the road on the way to the dump station.

Packing up on my last trip I noticed my 1 year old Progressive surge protector SSP-30Xl didnt have any lights on. I unhooked it and plugged everything in and still nothing. I took it with camping and still nothing. When I got home I took pictures and put in a warranty claim, a day later I get a email saying a new one will be on its way with in 10-15 days. The next day it was here, wow thanks Progressive!!! They said to throw away the old one, so I guess the kids and I get to take it apart and investigate!

My Progressive 50a hard wired unit did the same thing. However, every so often I could get a whiff of the “magic smoke” that electronic devices emit as they die off and go to the Great Semiconductor in the Sky!-this since new. It finally quit.
Called Progressive and they say, since it is hard-wired, the dealer has to be the one to take it out and replace. That means 2 trips of indeterminate length....not happening, so I removed it. It is at the dealer now, and I have a good relationship with them, so, I will wait and see if they will allow me to reconnect the wires.....electronics/electrical background 50+years.....we shall see what misadventure ensues here.

I meant to say, my dealer let me remove the Progressive. That is at the dealer now-not my camper. The failed unit is awaiting a turn-around replacement. Hopefully, they will “allow” me to install it!

The gate valve broke off. Fortunately it was a twist-on and I had a sewer cap with me. The bag itself came through unscathed. I did end up dumping gray water into a ditch, unfortunately. My other options were to hook up my hoses and macerate it to a toilet OR walk the campground looking to borrow someone’s blue boy and offload it to that OR into my 5 gallon bucket.
Ironically, I was at a RV dealer the day before (Jack Sisemore for their RV Museum) and was talking to the parts guy about what needed ordered to put a real valve on it. My wife actually picked it up today.
And this afternoon, I swapped the valve on the bladder. And then used it (closing the tailgate this time!).
Tonight I installed a new curtain rod across our loft. I tried a tension rod and it worked ok for a while but it started falling during travel. This time I screwed both ends into the wall.

I was up on the RVs roof early this morning. The 13,500 Dometic A/C fan has been rattling and it was annoying, the fans were tight, the motor was making noise. Before I junked my old 15K Dometic the Coleman replaced in the spring I removed the motor, fan and wiring. This morning it was transplanted into the 13,500 and no more rattle. The old 15K will get recycled today.
This is the second time in a week I have removed the Dometic's cover and found a frog in it. The first one got away from me so it may be the same one. This time I found him a nice tree.
The roof was also dirty so I washed it.

Since my wife has knee issues I am working on making it easier for her when we go camping. I added MORryde steps with a hand railing and put a grab bar in the bathroom. Somehow I was lucky and the studs were 18" on center on the wall I wanted to put the grab bar and they were in the right place.
I have a toilet riser and water supply extension on order and will be doing that as soon as I have all the parts.

Where did you find the mounted to steps handrail? I've been looking for that model but can't find one for the two step MoreRydes.

I got them at the Hershey RV Show direct from MORryde. They had a Rep from Tom Schaeffer Camping and Travel center from Shoemakersville PA with them and they shipped them there for me to pick up. I ordered them on Sunday and they had them on Tuesday. I didn't look at the 2 step so don't know if they have one for it but you could call Tom Schaeffer's and ask. They could at least tell you if they are available.

Looks like he may have mounted his like I mounted mine. I used superstrut bolted to the frame tabs used for the original electric stabilizers.
