Thanks 5picker and simiHal for the pics and description of your strongarm mounts. I was just curious to what I might need as far as mounting hardware. Great information.

DH replaced FW and City Inlet. The old City Inlet bit the dust and you have to replace the cheap POS with same POS. Not much out there to replace it with.

We sat inside and came up with idea's to open up storage places and make them more accessible. Like under the rear of the U dinette. Going to reposition the table as well.

Attempted to fix the poor duct routing that restricts warm air flow from the furnace to the rear of our new 5er.

We’ll be able to see if its working better this week while camping at Mew Lake campground in Algonquin Provincial Park.

Started wiring up my lithium-aware charger right next to the batteries. The charge on my rig is built into the distribution center and is more than 25' back from the batteries. I emailed with Progressive Dynamics and Best Converter about getting the parts needed to make it lithium aware. I got a replacement part # but no one could tell me how to buy one.

Since I brought my old converter with me from the rig I traded, I decided to go ahead and install that up by the batteries.

I started with a new 20amp outlet. And then mounted the converter on the wall above the batteries.

My helper was pretty awesome.

Pulled way more wire than I needed. Good thing as I messed up the sheathing on some of it before I realized my issue.

Next I need to get some battery cables for the converter. I am adding a negative bus bar because my shunt's load side already has 3 connectors stacked on it. And I need to actually wire up the 120v side of the new outlet to the 20amp breaker for the existing converter.

Needs done by next week.

1, I'm super jealous.

2, I received my Wooster Paint poles and attachments for some cheap brackets/awning poles from following some threads here. Need to hit a hardware store tomorrow for attaching the brackets to the awning arms.

3, went on an Amazon shopping spree - everything from new taillights to 15amp automatic transfer switches to oil filter for the generator to battery cables + bus bar to finish up the converter install (and probably more that I'm forgetting).

The slide out is in. So, the slide topper is in the top of the pic and the window Awning in just over the window.

It's maintenance week. Put a coat of wax on, took me two days, sprayed all the seals with 3 in 1 and sprayed the slide track. Got three more trips planed before we put it away for the winter and didn't want to be waxing it in November.

Here's my current to do list:
  1. Install negative bus bar (my shunt's load side is triple stacked already and I'm adding another connection
  2. Install battery cables onto new converter
  3. Connect new 20amp outlet to the breaker panel where the existing converter is
  4. Install Xantrex 15amp automatic transfer switches to 2 circuit breakers
  5. Run extension cords from inverter to above automatic transfer switches
  6. Paint awning pole brackets
  7. Install awning pole brackets
  8. Change oil in generator
  9. Install replacement taillights
  10. Install cell booster antenna + antenna

I'm going to try and accomplish most of that by the end of the weekend in preparation for boondocking at the Balloon Fiesta for the next 2 weeks.

Which Peace River? The one in Arcadia or the one in Wauchula? (I think that's the 2 towns with Peace River Campgrounds in FL.)

Installed my awning pole brackets and I'm not bothering to paint them.

Ran my extension cords for the inverter. Another day of crawling around under the camper on a gravel lot- back of my arms are bruised! And I'm so very sore.

Tonight is the 120v electrical wiring. I'm a little nervous but I have a friend baby sitting me while I do it.

Oh nice! I've driven by there a couple of times.

We stay at the other one because it's part of our Thousand Trails membership and "free" to stay at.
