We picked it up from the dealer for some warranty work and stopped at a CAT scale to get our weights.

I've always mounted it that way to mitigate the stupid camper trick of forgetting to tighten them.

Found water damage on the back wall. Never saw water inside I just happen to see waviness on the wall and when I felt it I could feel the damage.
I think I will be pressurizing it every year to check for leaks instead of just a visual inspection of the roof, with the damage I felt it had to have been leaking for a long time. I'm guessing it came in from around the antenna area.
Lets see if USAA will deny another claim I put in.

What did you do to your camper today?

Couple of days late but upgraded tow vehicle to 2020 GMC Sierra 3500HD AT4 Duramax.

I lost one a few years ago and got a replacement at a lawn mower shop. The same type nut is used on holding brackets on small batteries.

At some point during every day you suddenly realize nothing else productive is going to happen the rest of that day. For me, it usually occurs around 9 am.

Unfortunately, all insurance companies usually deny water damage claims unless there is a source of an incident (like tree branch falling or driving incident). They claim "lack of maintenance" as the cause and deny it.

Measure diameter of bolt should be standard inch vs metric. Probably 1/4 or 3/8. Get wing nut at Lowe’s or Home Depot.

It looks lower than my 2014. That'd be nice. Trucks keep getting taller and taller and it's annoying.

Those photos are very deceiving. It is a big truck, much bigger than my ‘16. The box floor height is about an inch lower which is nice. Love the tailgate and cameras. Can’t wait to tow with it.

Here is a side by side (2020/2019) photo from the gm-truck forums:

A perfect example of why your China bombs may have exploded, even though YOU drive reasonably and keep the proper air pressure in your tires. The front tires may very well be overloaded. And the transporter probably does 70-75 mph like this (I know because they've passed me).

Another good idea, I did try the wing nuts I had in my garage spares but none fit

I poke my toes in the wheel spokes and use it as a stool. Also have a $180 step off the corner of the bumper..... Must be kickbacks from the step manufacturers...
