I definitely need that being short by nature then for every inch the belly laps over the belt I loose an inch of reach. I’m 5’10 but have the reach of person that’s 4’11

Took mine out of storage today, owner of storage lot called earlier in week said they were broken into but mine avoided the damage. Wrong big slash in my spare tire.
Have battery sitting on charger. Will check tires and prep for first trip since July. Excited to get back out even with 32 mph winds forecast for in the morning

Im going to be working for the next 3 weeks so after this weekend at Palmetto Island State Park I blew out the water lines again in case we get a hard freeze.

Doesn't take long and it is good insurance. Just need some more RV Antifreeze for the P Traps.

Took it to discount tire. Had 3 new tires installed had the very overpriced new spare put back. I would love to tell the world that after 4 years and 13k plus on tires it was their time. Even blaming a foreign country where tire was manufactured, caused my blowout, but I can’t. Truth be known if it hadn’t been for a man pointing to the tire I would have never known. Thus I don’t know the cause of the blowout.

I do know I am thankful that the tire store in the small town I entered was open and had a tire that fit. I really want to complain about the price $175 for a briway. However the tire shop had one customer and two technicians so I was on the road a little less than 45 minutes from time I pulled off road. Until I rehooked the truck and got on our way. Now how much quicker would it had been if I took impact gun or had the damaged spare fixed so I could just throw it one.

In the end no one was hurt, no damage to trailer and now I have good tires for next trip

I bought her a new pony...upgraded to a 350 finally last week. I went to storage and had to setup my hitch again today for the new truck. I wanted to see how much the squat was. The F150 would squat over 3" in the rear with Timbrens installed. I don't recall the front numbers.

The F350 drops less than an inch in the rear and no change in front. No airbags or bump stops needed yet. Next I take her for a drive with the new truck and to get weighed and see real numbers. I should not need to put them on a diet this time around.Click image for larger version

Day before yesterday...Washed it top to bottom. Dawn DW soap on the rubber roof and Turtle Wash Automotive soap and water on the sides.

Yesterday, started waxing, polishing/de-oxydizing. About 3/4 of the way through the right side, learning what works as I go.

I do have a WEN Orbital Buffer which helps a lot.

What did you do to your camper today?

What did I do to our camper? Put the “C” in the barn to hibernate for the
winter... no snow on the roof, no freezing rain, no hail bouncing off it, just peace of mind during the winter months.

Thanks in advance
My RV mechanic advised me to orient the opening toward the back; keeps the wind from trying to pull it open. Don't know if you can with your cover but it might be worth a look.

I got it washed top to bottom and the right side waxed and polished. The wind came up and didn't want to be on top of an 8' ladder so the left side will have to wait til the wind dies down and I have free time.

With my bad knees and back, I would need a step to get onto the step.

Started opening up to get parts coming for the water damage. So far pressurizing has only shown a leak underneath the corner.

Just wondering why?

In 40+ years I've seen one go bad and it simply dribbled water and no amount of snapping the lever would get it to stop. It's just not an item you see go bad.

Bath tub replacement

Well nothing yet! But I do want to replace the 24x36 bath tub to a shower pan. What do yall think the cost would be. I can't do it myself so wondering the cost of something like that would run me? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks joe

Couldn't get water to quit pouring out of it. Had to switch bypass over just so I could have water. It would even pour out cold water. First time out totally primitive.

No idea on cost, but I think the biggest challenge will be finding someone to do the work. I find most dealers don’t want to do modifications/customization work.

one of my side marker lights lost its plastic cover. It happened once before and I found it on the ground next to the camper.

This time I don't know where it went so I replaced all 4 of my amber markers with new LED lights.
