Smile Got it cleaned out

well interesting story. We went to a RV show a couple of weeks ago and were planning on just looking at the accessories. Well they didn't have many accessories so we got looking at trailers. We found a Coachmen Chaparral 336 TSIK that we really liked. after some negotiations we are the proud new owners.

So the last 3 days we have been removing all our personal items from the Windjammer. Dealer is going to swap over our Solar system to the new 5er.

Wow, they have gone up in price by a lot. I paid $3,100 for a 20x40x14 less than three years ago. A local company was actually $50 less than Carolina Carport. Plus, no permit was required.

But, its a good investment even at 5K for protecting your RV.

Installed a towel bar in bath got rid of the funky hooks. also added some door knobs to sink doors as no handles of any kind . Like the knobs better can hang hot pads or what ever has a loop on it. Also hung clock in living area. Pictures next. Also in stalled GY Endurance tires and also added additional out door lighting as there was no porch light.Oh forgot added spice rack near stove. Later RJD

Frank4711, did Remondo and his crew put up your carport? They did mine in 2012. I was so impressed with the workmanship of the three of them I called Carolina Carports to praise them! Your setup looks really good. One question, why not do another section of metal down the side to further protect that nice camper from the sun? Jay

I finally got around to pulling the batteries and bringing them home to my 70 degree basement and a charger.

Orlando was led man and they were good (there was a older man who I think was the boss but he spent time in truck and checking the work) ... tri pod laser level and they really dialed it in (west side was 5 inches lower they leveled it first then cut about 5 inches off each leg on east side) and the 1000's of screws will hold something ... orientation front to back is north and south ... large oaks to the west and tall pines to east .... will be only a little light sneaking thru on the sides (none on west for sure) looking now one more panel on east side would have helped ....

DW and I went to the NJ RV show recently and she fell in love with the new style of window valance and panels. She has hated the ones that came in our 5er. Now I have 11 to make and replace. [ATTACH]222247

I will. Trying to come up with a lighter weight material for the panels
