Get a free account at imgur.com. Upload your pix there to your hidden album. Copy the link there then post here. Works perfectly.

That... or simply hold your phone correctly when taking the photo... or edit and rotate them correctly before posting.

Your phone will automagically rotate them when you view them, no matter the orientation... the forum can't do that.

When uploading to Imgur the image always shows up exactly the way it was taken by the phone....landscape or portrait. Then, when the link is posted on this site the orientation will always be correct.

Here’s a screenshot taken in portrait mode:

And the same screenshot view in landscape mode:

No editing required for either one.

Yesterday in an attempt to be optimistic I vacuumed out the trailer in hope of camping soon!

I dewinterized ours yesterday. We camped out in the backyard. It’s great to be back in the saddle!

I held my phone the right way and they still posted sideways. I shouldn't have to put them in a different program to rotate them.

I took a picture of mine yesterday (see a few post above) and clicked on the download images at it came out just as you see it. I picked the medium size image and it was a landscape picture that I took. I am not sure what’s going on with yours.

Correct. I never have problems posting to other sites. This one uses a lower quality software than most.

I prefer the off site hosting because you can store a lot of pictures not relevant to this site and share them via email link to whoever you want. And, it only takes three touches on the iPhone screen to upload the image.

The picture posting problem seems to happen most with iPhones. Androids don't seem to have this issue. Someone posted an explanation once, but I can't find it.

Unloaded food and cleaners. Looks to be awhile before camper moves. Hate that. Hope everyone stays safe and well.

getting ready to hopefully camp

This weekend I was busy. Replaced all the bearings with made in USA Timkens. The new dexter axles which are made in the USA still come with garbage china bearings. I also finnally got around to supports all the spring hangers. I notice that on the spread axle i get alot of flex while backing in tight spots. Hopefully no more after this job.

This is something the factory should be doing

The bearings are selected by the axle manufacturer to meet performance specs of the vehicle manufacturer. Unless Dexter or any other axle manufacturer has a run of bearing failures they'll continue to source the bearings they're getting from wherever they get them. USA-made Timkens may be better quality, and I'd look for them if I had to replace my bearings, but I haven't heard about a statistically high rash of bad bearings on RV trailers.

EDIT: Bearings are certainly not even on my priority list when I get a new trailer. Tires on the other hand...

Maybe bearings aren't on your priority list but I will say this. So u know that lippert takes a 5000lbs axle tube and welds 3500lbs spindles on it and call it a 4400lbs axle. This axle has a much smaller diameter bearing than a dexter 5000lbs and 6000lbs axle. Lippert also uses 10in brakes when dexter uses 12in. This should never be ok when safety is a concern. Most people load up there trailers without thinking of weight and dont realize they are running there trailers at capacity.

My 5400 pound Lippert axles came with 12 inch brakes. But, 10 or 12 inch brakes are equally incompetent at stopping a 10k trailer.

Maybe I should add that the Dexter Torflex axles were a significant reason why I choose to stick with a Rockwood when we upgraded to our 5er. My other favourite was a Keystone Cougar that we felt had had a nicer floor plan but it had LCI axles and basic leaf spring suspension among other technologies I felt were inferior to what Rockwood used, like the slideout mechanism. This is our third Rockwood with the Dexter Torflex axles and bearings have never been a problem. My step-sister and her husband had a lot of problems with their SOB TT with LCI axles and leaf spring suspension.

It hit 67 degrees F today.
Couldn't stand it. It has snowed here late as the end of April. But.....
I HAD to uncover the TT!
It was dry enough to lay the cover in the yard to roll it up.
Haven't gone in it yet.

Parked mine in its shed. Our April and May trips were canceled by Recreation.gov.
