Washer/dryer. Wife wants, I do. Only I didn't. Can't figure out why no water at the hoses. And you think YOU'RE thick.

Weight distribution...LOL

Slow day. Pulled the toy out of the toy hauler and started cleaning it up. Cleaned up the "picking room" too. The toy's garage makes a good small venue in rainy weather we camped in last week. Also removed the TST tpms wheel sensors so the batteries don't expire during winter storage. The sensors switch off after a momentary freakout and about a minute of zero pressure. If left on the tires, the sensors ping the repeater every few seconds. Changing out 10 wheel sensor batteries is tedious.
Anxiously awaiting April and Oakboro's Big Lick Festival. Our season opener.
As I said, slow day. Party on! Click image for larger version

To us people with lightweight trailers, a washer/dryer is a foreign concept. That's why it didn't come to mind when I read that.

I picked up a large screw in one of my tires yesterday. I noticed it when I was chocking the tires at our camping spot. Lucky for me a mechanic in the nearest little town to me in the Black Hills of South Dakota had a tire in stock. He offered to patch it, but for peace of mind I replaced it.

I also discovered that the lugs holding the spare tire to the rear rack are a different size than the lugs on the wheels. Not a huge deal since I have a full socket set, but how dumb.

You think that's something - I've seen campers with the spare a completely different size than the mounted wheels/tires!

Hope that jackstand isn't under the axle.

It was. But only as a safety precaution. No weight was on it.

We put up our states visited map today. Assuming everything goes as planned, we should have five more added by the end if our trip.

I replaced the bottom seal on my Dometic 300 toilet. Easiest fix of anything ever. The toilet is basically not much more than a funnel with a water supply, a seat and a valve. Pretty simple stuff.

The pic is what happens when i didn't see the problem. I missed something..maybe. You caught the problem in time.
I had a difficult time finding a complete spare. Was about 40 miles from two Camping Worlds, Marion and Hendersonville, NC, and no 6 lug wheels. Finally bought an old, but nice, Chevy truck wheel. Had a tire mounted on it. Drove home feeling better having a spare. I have lots of spares now.

Oh I see. Lol. I lucked out that it happened when it did. If I had already headed out onto the interstate, it may have been a different story.
