Took the rig back to the ranch shop for the winter. I use it out there for inside camping.

Decided to go from 15" to 16" wheels (with metal valve stems) and put endurance tires on it.

Finished torquing to specs on my new 3p hitch and took it for a test drive
had to extend my safety chains and reposition my brake safety switch but the way it feels behind me is vastly improved.
At 55, 60, and 65 there is no sway at all. At 70 there was a little movement from passing trucks, but this is the only time I’ve driven at that speed. Gotta say for my peace of mind the investment is worth it. Now I’m waiting to see if sunshine and flowers come out of my black water tank 🤪

Yesterday I winterized my rig. Last night temps were down into the mid-twenties, so I couldn't put it off any longer.

Pulled the battery, topped off the cells with water and put it on the charger. Once the charger is saying full charge I'll check the specific gravity with a hydrometer an d see what condition the cells of the battery is in. I'll give it a capacity test and then ill know for certain if I'm going to get another year out of it . If all is good ill give it a charge every couple months until spring. This is the original battery the tt came with and made it 6 years!

Bed Rails
First, I joined the Forum, thank you. Second I tried to remove the bed rails from my 2013 Viking Epic to replace the bent ones. No luck, not sure how to do it. Any help would be appreciated as I cant find anything on You Tube.

Welcome to the forum. As your Viking is a Coachmen brand, you may get more knowledgeable responses if you post your query in the Coachmen forum:

I towed it back to its storage spot for the winter after winterizing and cleaning it over the weekend and this week. Boo! We have been talking about taking trip south over the winter though, so maybe it won't be hibernating for too long.

Winterized, flushed the water heater and installed a new anode. Was wanting to hold out a few more weeks as we are doing a little mod to add a pantry in the kitchen island.
We've had 8-10 nights where it got to the mid 20°s and I've just run a little heat but next week we are to get a couple days where it doesn't get above freezing so its safe now.

what did i do
not a single thing
C.W has my rig i have a extended warrantee on it and they are looking to see how much it will cover ..................
but i have big plans ....
i have a 2608ws 2014 rockwood u.l
the bathroom door is in the wrong place.
so i am removing door way & extending the wall and using a accordion door..
then making a light over table
2014 rock wood forest river 2608ws lot's of mod's
2000 dodge ram 3500 Dually 5.9 cummins lots of upgrades
dont argue with people who contradict them self & lye all the time.
my own philosophy ..

Heading out to the shop to adjust a rear screen door latch I installed the other day and to put the new 2021 RV sticker and registration sticker on the rig (I will forget if I wait till spring)

I have the same issue.
Mine will go off randomly (usually early in the damn morning waking us up).
We do have a dog with us but she is usually in the BR withDW and me at the door of the bed. Unit is mounted on rear wall of camper under the radio. I replaced it last year under warranty from CW with a new unit and it still occurs - On shore power or off shore power. Gas is off so that not the issue.
Driving us crazy.
We installed a on off switch right above it so I could turn it off when it started going crazy so I wouldn't have to play electrician in the middle of the night.
I am using the camper as a home office parked next to the house on shore power and cold weather is coming in and will have to use heater.I still haven't figured out the issue.
Any other Ideas?

Installed a Progressive Dynamics PD9260CV converter as our WFCO 9855 finally died. The install was plug and play and the new converter works well.

Great to know, I'm wanting to do this change out as well. Plug and play is always a plus.

Big difference from My Michigan to Denver trip without all that.
If anyone is interested I will review the three.
We are set up here to stay for 13 weeks. Gotta get my poop-tube affixed solid style.(PVC)
Cause of the long stay.

I'm new to RV living and I just found out I will be here (in Kentucky) at my current job at least until March 2021 so I will be stationary another 4 months - I want to do the same but don't understand how to attach the PVC to the current fittings. Are there fittings available for the PVC or do you just have to do some "special" engineering?

I did this years ago, super easy, 3 inch pvc any hardware you want, they sell, glue fittings and threaded, ( use the rotating bayonet fittings ) clear fittings... you name it they have it. Just to give you a few ideas:
