I did actually keep the package for the zip ties. Here's what I bought:
Wether they meet all of your criteria or not, they're good enough for me (for now, at least). I got another 450 miles out of them and none of the 4 has shown any sign of breakage. I think you all know me by now- I'll fess up when they let go. As to a temporary fix or long term plan, I'm still not sure. I do definitely feel like I'm in the...
Otherwise, I redid one of my favorite mods and hung a second shower head holder. The original one leaves the shower head just a touch shorter than I am. I lost this mod during one of my factory returns where they replaced my shower enclosure due to a crack in it.

Headed to Lowes to get 6' of #8-3 wire to install the new Progressive HW30C I got in the mail yesterday on eBay for $157 including shipping. Never be opened. Now to find a place to install it. Haven't figured out whether I'll install it before going to FL or wait so I have something to do down there.

Those are the correct type for outdoor use. However, just so you are aware they are UV resistant and not UV "proof" like the more expensive ones.
Good luck in your travels.

Thanks, Lou.
I also forgot that I picked up a few more lengths of gutter. The campground that I'm at in Vegas requires sewer hoses to not be on the ground. I previously tried using my sewer tube "drawer" but the end caps made it lay funny. I actually have wanted these for a while because when staying for 1-2 weeks, I've been killing grass with my sewer hose laying on it.

I finally got my Progressive protector but it's the portable type so I install when I arrive at camp ground. Later RJD

I am about to push the button to buy one of some kind. So what made you decide on this one?

Firstly, it's 12v. I had a 120v air compressor that was useless without a generator or shore power.
Second, they guarantee me that it'll be able to fill my 125psi tires. My old generator couldn't do much over 110psi.
Thirdly, it's 100% duty cycle so I don't have to think or worry about topping up all 10 tires at one go.
Fourthly, they're just a quality brand with many good reviews as far as I can tell.

Washed and cleaned up the Silverback....heading out tomorrow on short trip to attend the DW and my 50th high school class reunion in West Memphis AR....will be camped in the Tom Sawyer RV Park on the bank of the mighty Mississippi River....might get a chance to hear some of those tall tales sitting by a campfire from some of the old classmates.....looking for some fun as we rekindle those long ago friendships.

I saw them on Amazon. Looks like good product but maybe a little rich for my blood. I'm thinking about Amazon.com: Slime 40026 2X Heavy Duty Direct Drive Tire Inflator: Automotive.
Doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the Viair has. Maybe if I were the world traveler like you, I'd want something more worthy like you're getting.
Good choice.

It's not so much what I did as what I ordered for the new columbus.
1) one box of jt strongarms.
2) One 25' 50 amp extension cord.
3) One 30 male 50 female adapter.
4) one 50 amp progressive industries ems surge protector.
5) and one "and this was against my normal beliefs" power-max boondocker drop in 4 stage converter to replace the never used junk wfco unit.
6) one secondary battery box.
7) one secondary battery.
8) two battery cables.
9) two fold up bike rack mounting brackets.
I think i covered today's order.

Looking at our weather forcast and seeing nightly 30's with a chance of snow coming up...so making plans for winterizing but NOT happy about that, at all, mister!!!!
I'd better hurry and pick up 3 bottles of the antifreeze...our local stores always run out as soon as it hits the 30's at night.

Started installing a Progressive EMS 30A with remote. What a PITA where I am going to put it which is in the compartment behind the converter. Also changing the input wire from 10ga to 8ga. Now to figure out how to make the connections inside the compartment.
