Thanks fellas. I don't often need all 40', so I'll probably wait until I'm in a bind to order more.

The topic of this thread is "What did you do to your camper today?". Playing banjos, poor driving, and family reunions do not fall within those parameters. I have deleted a bunch of post to get this thread back on topic.

I know you just cleared all us idiots who muddles up the thread but..

I wanted to apologize to OC for my driving comment I made about him. It has since been purged but I did offend / upset him and that was NOT my intent, rightly so. There was not excuse for it and was mean spirited, not what FRF is for.

I have apologized to OC in PM and felt that it should also be put here as well. So, OC please accept my apologies.

Thanks, Pat

You know they have Ex-lax if you're in a bind.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. Need to go camping...

Got the new swivel rocker chair in today and was surprised to see it was a perfect match to the original equipment chair. Now we can both be comfortable watching TV.

Visited it and didn't bring it home. The installation of the JoyRider shocks required that a propane line be moved. The propane line was very rusted so they recommended that it be replaced entirely. When they pulled it down, the found that the Trail Flex Equalizer was rubbing against it and had almost entirely abraded through it!

The new steps look awesome. They seem like they'll be a slight bit more work putting them out and back up, but the 4 steps that go fully to the ground is AWESOME. I'm really excited about them.

Unfortunately, they'll have the camper until next week. We're hoteling it for the weekend. If they have it past Monday, they can put us up in their RV park.

Oh, and Sleep Number still extra sucks.

53 degrees, today, so drove to the RV storage lot at the Air Force Academy to check on Rocky and put the 2016 license plate sticker on her.
Everything on the outside looked okay (tire covers, awning covers, A/C cover on the roof) then I went inside to open a few vents to air her out.
Had quite a scare...saw 4-5 small black things on the floor and my first thought was either rat or mice droppings. But they were just flies that had died.
We leave the fridge propped open to prevent mold and I noticed the wooden front cover on the bigger door was all the way on the floor. Apparently, the plastic holder under the door must've cracked because it was also on the floor and a few broken tabs were there. (So I brought it home and took a picture of the make/model and and will search for a new plastic piece...can't believe they used plastic as that wooden panel is not light.)
So locked it all up and did a walk-around and found a white vent cover that was broken on the side of Rocker. So I climbed on the roof and my covers were fine. Looking around, a big Class-A 3 slots down must've left their vent open and our crazy winds took it clean off and it landed next to mine! So I put the pieces next to their door and called Dennis, our RV Lot manager and told him to call the owner as they have had a big whole on their Class-A for who knows how long? (I'm hoping it just covered their bathroom but it was in the middle of the camper.)

Check your parked camper often, folks!!! (I didn't drive over the truck so didn't check the tire pressures but the batteries were fine...I'll check the tires next time I'm out there with the Tundra as i have a compressor in it.)

Bought a new 32" tv for the 5er main bedroom during the week (still on sale). Since it has 200x200 mount points (where our old tv and mount are 100x100) I bought some cheap (and lighter weight than the morryde adapter) adapter arms from Amazon. I did have to drill out the holes in them tho, and buy some bolts, since the mounting bolts for the new Samsung TV are M8.

The one thing I didn't realize when buying the TV was that it has an external power supply, which is kinda annoying, but I think I can velcro mount it to the back of the tv/mount.

Hoping I might get a chance to install the tv this weekend.

Also bought some pipe insulation to try to keep the pipes from losing too much heat, while on our new years camping trip

Thanks it's very similar to mine. The people at appliancezone.com found the exact piece and it's only $10.

But I'm concerned, now...the same piece in your diagram says it's "decorative" so I'm wondering if I'll just have to adhere the wooden panel to the door to keep it there.

I'll e-mail my dealer and ask him...he's the smartest RV guy I know! (No offense to some the know-it-alls in here! ;-)
