The bottom bunk just has a couple of folding cushions for use as a mattress, and we need more storage for our 8 week summer trip, so I built a bed frame out of 1" square aluminum tube, aluminum angle bars, and some 1x4 wood slats, so we can fit some rolling storage totes under the bed in the bunk room.
I'll post some photos of it installed in the camper within the next couple of days.
Bed frame assembled (sitting on our driveway)
Close-up of one of the center legs. I used a T-braces and angle braces to attach the legs to the side angle bars
The assembled legs (on the garage floor) before being assembled. I cut and sanded the 1" aluminum square tube to size and used angle braces (with #10-24 flat head bolts and lock nuts) to build the leg frames

As promised, a couple more photos of it installed in the bunk room, which I did this morning.
Frame installed in bunk room (slide-out). Nice fit, but not too tight.
Bunk frame with rolling storage containers underneath and folding mattress and topper on top (obviously it'll look a little nicer with a sheet on the bed etc)

Nice job. Anything to improve\increase storage capacity is a welcome addition. Thanks for sharing.

Moved the TH yesterday. Trusses are ordered and will pick up the lumber tomorrow to start putting up the posts for the cover. Shoveled way too much snow off the top this winter and can't wait to get the cover up!

Just some simple things to make life easier, safer, or just more convenient.
Added solar motion activated lights above the entrance door and the front tongue jack area. Nice to see the stairs and be able to get the key in the lock at night. Also keeps my guests and me from running our shins into the tongue at night. We have been known to drink a little too much at Renaissance Faires. My TT has lights in the front cap but this light is automatic and makes it easier to find the light switch, as well.
Also added a 1 micron sediment filter. It is reusable and can be back flushed. Cost a little extra but keeps the junk out of my fresh water tanks. I use a 5 stage reverse osmosis system in the kitchen for drinking and cooking.
Bought some nicer utility blocks. They stack nicely and give a good footprint for leveling, especially side to side.
Installed the California Immobilizer. Keeps the honest people honest and makes it more difficult to steal when I am away.

I did the mouse pad fix to my water pump. It is a lot quieter when it needs to run but Wow!. It no longer makes noise like a little hammer on the floor after pumping water.
Way Cool, now at night, my DW can hardly hear the drum roll on the floor as the pump winds down.
Thanks everyone for posting the simple things.

I guess I'm the rookie-what is the mouse pad fix?

Reduces or eliminates the sound of the water pump vibrating.

Upgraded the bedroom exhaust fan to a Fan-tastic model 7350. Despite the reviews, you must determine the style of fan you have and follow the instructions carefully. Once installed, it worked like a charm. Highly recommended. Will be replacing the vent in the living room next with a complete unit model 7350.

Did that for a friend on her Aerolite first time but watched all the videos and it was a snap, had to cut the roof shield to 3" because she had purchased the 5-6" version but very easy to do

That's what I have. Keep it under my bed.
For me, today the cat is getting new sneakers. Firestone Transforce HT 235/85 R 16 lrE. It was time anyways but the gash made it priority.

Removed the slide out awnings and unrolled enough to lay the awning on top of the RV, cleaned the seals and flaps, also treated them with 303. Couldn't believe how much grit and grime I got off. No way to get at them to do a good enough job without removing the awning, the 12.5' awning was the hardest to handle alone but I got it done. You need to pin the roller so it doesn't release the spring tension before releasing any hardware. Over all not too bad a job, took about four hours to do three sets of slide seals. The only negative about the slide awnings is needing to get them out of the way to clean and treat the seals. Below is a picture of the awning disconnected from the slide laid up on the roof. The seals have been cleaned and treated with 303.

303 is a protectant and treatment. I use it to condition the seals. I also use it on the tires as a UV protectant. I get it from Amazon.com

Construction on 95 outside Delaware Memorial Bridge is where I think it happened. Piece of steel. Luckily I missed it with the dually since those tires are new already.
