Flushed antifreeze and sanitized water tank and water circuit. Filled hot water heater and verified it worked on propane and electric. Tested fridge the same.

Last time we camped we tested the furnace so with the heat right now we were able to give the a/c a test also.

Filled freshwater tank partially so when we are ready to go on Friday I can add my chemicals to the grey and black tanks.

My daughter washed the roof and we cleaned all the windows etc.

We re-torqued the wheels and checked the tire pressure (I will check pressures again before leaving Friday in the TT and the TV)

Oh - I also fixed the shoddy job on inline fuse they installed. I put a grommet in the I-beam and re-spliced and soldered the connection and applied heat-shrink and cable wrap.
I applaud your family for doing a "Test Flight" at Home! You are way ahead of Most for doing this, and Youroo!!

Oh well, another one on order, will put it in this week.
That's not a bad thing!
I always wanted a grey tank rinse. A lot of food stuff sits in there that rots and smells.

That looks awesome. To get a 16 year old to do anything is quite the accomplishment. Had a neighbor who offered his kid $40 to mow the lawn and trim it. Would take just over an hour. Kid said it was not worth it. You should be very proud.

He could make a lot of money doing that if he wanted to in the summer too. I don't remember what they get around here in southern WI but I think it was $8-10 per foot.

Took the 5er out for first trip this year on May long weekend. Had a problem with one of the batteries. Found out that the "Boob" that owned the 5er before me had 2 different size Interstate batteries under the covers. Never noticed before but explains how one battery boiled the water out under charge and failed. Landing gear wouldn't adjust after dropping it so I boosted with the truck and removed the bad battery, put the other larger one in #1 spot and charged it. One good battery did everything anyway, jacks, slides, etc. Bought a new Interstate 27 series today as a mate.

Also, disconnected my crappy ceiling surround and RCA DVD player and installed a new Sony BluRay DVD player with Wifi and NetFlics. Has USB for recorded movies on speed stick. I had a Polk Audio Surround Sound Bar and wireless Subwoofer I kept from my last DP Coach and installed it. Perfect system now for those rainy days when trapped inside. Soundbar is just below the TV.

On my to-do list. I really like it...simple, cheap, easy to install.

I'm getting closer and closer to that option. I've been trying to hold out as I don't like extra work of setting stuff up outside (my pressure regulator is always installed in my water bay). But getting to this water filter sure is a PITA.

Apparently it had been a little while since I replaced it (6-8 months):
Eww- new filter compared to the old

That's the exact filter I installed in mine after the shoddy factory part wouldn't stay together. I just put it in place in the wet bay.

Doug, where is yours located that makes it so bad?

In my basement but behind my water bay.

Which means, to get a good enough grip on the dang thing- I have to be sitting in the basement.

Which to sit in the basement, I have to move like 3 bins of stuff, a couple of yard play things, my extra Reflectix, AND get a stool to make climbing in there possible (my floor is higher than the storage hatch door).

Around here you don't have to cut...the lord takes care of that.

I would replace both bats. at the same time. Older one could hurt the new one.

White is white, but a lot cooler than the pretty dark colors!

pressure tank flagstaff 26FKWS

I removed the factory water filter and installed a water works 2 gal pressure tank with shut of valve and drain. I pressurized the system and sat back to congratulate myself and have a cup of coffee. After about 5 min I saw a drip at the 90* elbow where it meets the tank guess I should have used metal or tightened the plastic tighter (didn't want to crack the fitting) So my attaboy was wiped out by my aw crap. Starting over.
