It's been a busy few weeks, We left for Florida Jan 2.
Before we left I cut 3-2x10's and a 1x10 to take with me to level trailer and keep the tires off the ground since I'm leaving it there. Also loaded up some 5 ft lengths of 3 inch sewer pipe with thread end connections I had made up before for work at a campground where I was stuck a long way from the sewer.

We got to Florida on the 4th of Jan. Due to heavy equipment moving through my site to pick up storm damage from the hurricane my formerly level site now required me to use 3-2x10's on one side of the trailer and the 1x10 on the other side to attain level.

The next day we threaded the sewer pipe together, 6 lengths of 5 ft. each. Put a short 6x6 with a 4x4 on top at at the trailer outlet end, a 4x4 in the middle, down to the ground at the camp sewer hookup. I have very good drainage fall although I noticed a small belly yesterday so I need to put a 2x4 block down near the camp connection. I attached 1 ft lengths of sewer slinky to each end to complete the hook ups.
Then we ran to town to buy another water hose since I didn't have enough to reach.

Friday Jan. 6 I zip tied the water hose and the power cord to the sewer line, it made a neat looking installation.
Sat up the dish tripod and leveled it, and aimed the satellite dish and hooked it up.
Then we graded the ground next to the trailer adjacent to the concrete patio and laid out the patio blocks so we're not walking through grass and sand when entering either door of the trailer.
Then we washed the truck and trailer.

The weekend was cold here so we weren't outside much. Then the first part of this week we just kind of basked around in the sun.

I had my rear trailer roof vent lid break and my front one crack on the way down to Florida. I had ignored them since they had max air covers on, and during the weekend when it was cold I rammed a piece of cardboard in the rear one to block the cold air.

So this past Wed. I took off the rear vent lid and we went to Ft. Myers Camping World and bought 2. I also bought a Maxx Air II cover for the fantastic fan in the bathroom so we could leave it open in the rain, it didn't have a cover.

Went back to the trailer and installed the 2 vent lids.

Thursday I installed the Maxx AirII cover over the create a breeze fan. Pretty neat unit. Unlike my old max air covers this one hinges so I can open it up for cleaning without taking it off.

And sometime during this furious activity of the past week and a half I put tire covers on my tires, don't really remember which day I did that.

Ok, sorry for the novel, it's almost at an end. I still need to figure out how I'm going to tie down the awning so I don't have to keep running it in and out, it really billows up in these winds.
Maybe move my dog tie out stake to a different place.

And before I leave this trailer here for the summer I'll need to clean the roof, maybe do some caulking and possibly even treat the roof, need to do more research on that.

Maybe now I'll find time to play some golf.

Went to town today and got two spiral dog tie downs, and tied the awning down with them and some small ratchet straps I already had. Working great, may not even take it loose and roll up the awning tonight.

then had a steak and salad and I just woke up from a good nap.

if you run into very hard ground, where the spiral screws can't work, you might want to look at "The Claw". ... they don't pull out and hard ground has never been a problem, ..... we used those screws at first with our awning legs and did have an occasion where the ground was so hard they wouldn't screw in, ... plus, once after a very hard rain over night, by the next morning, one screw had loosened, ....... discovered The Claw and don't know of anything that compares with it, .....

Hope you have support poles on your awning also in conjunction with the tie downs.

Today, we are heading over to the storage facility and taking our MH back to the house. Since I am away, I won't be at the game tonight so we decided to have a tailgate party right in the driveway. It will be set up all day in before ur driveway as we tailgate in 80 degree weather watching football and eating food. Pictures to follow. I'll probably be getting a letter from the HOA.

Picked up 4 collapsible vinyl zipper top 5gal water buckets to tie awning down to. 1 bucket=40lbs. Fold flat. Also, handy to have buckets of water nearby in case of rogue camfire embers.

OldCoot What does those steps hook or connect to?? do you remove the original steps and mount them there. I bought the MoRRyde step above for my CC but it won't work with my door.
