This weekend I installed my Progressive Industries EMS.
The basement of the camper has a bulkhead that I can remove to get to the shore power receptacle and cable. I installed the main unit there.
The display I installed on the same wall where the tank monitors and slide controls are. I thought running that cable was going to be the hard part. Boy was I ever wrong!
Hooking the cables to that main unit was a real bear. Laying on my side or stomach in that cramped basement, working with really stiff cable (mostly one handed), sweating to beat the band.. made for what would normally be a 10 minute job an hours long job. But I got 'er done! I provided the requisite blood offering while cutting and stripping the cable. And I probably invented some new "golf words" as my son used to call them when he was little.
Then I unboxed my new generator and powered up the camper for 6 hours to charge the batteries and test the EMS. Did the initial 5 hour oil change on the genny, and hooked up a solargizer to keep the batteries topped off.
All in all a productive weekend. Wife didn't think so.. I was supposed to have rebuilt the carburetor on her lawn mower. Who's got time for that when there's goodies to install on the camper?

One Reason - They were FREE....
We shall see if they do attract bugs as I did just change the amber porch light with a KING RVM2001 Premium Bluetooth Outdoor Speaker with Multi-Color LED Light and App Control.
Thank you for the other information!

They were "Room Darkening" shades. We got them at Wal-Mart or Lowe's. (Don't remember exactly.) They're just paper, trim-to-fit, with a peel and stick glue strip on top.

Got one of those Zero G hoses to try for my water supply to be a bit more compact. First impression is that it is not any smaller length wise (does not shrink like some other soft hoses) but seems pretty rugged. It sits flat and reminds me of a fire hose. I'll be trying in two weeks in VA to see how it preforms. If it is good I might get another one for drinking and two for the black flush. It does coil MUCH better than my current white snake of hoses..

When you use this, be sure to point the flat end at the transmitter. Most people believe you point the arrow at the transmitter, but it works better the other way. You will get better reception out of it if you do. I have one and these do well, especially for tight areas, where you don't have room for the Winegard Wingman.

I too did the mod to the sides of the slides to get the seals to go the correct way, when the slide is coming in and going out. The body molding catches the edge of the seal and pushes them the way they need to go.
I put these on the middle of the slide: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I no longer need to go around and pull the seals out, every time the slides go out. The body molding almost looks like it was originally part of the slide.

Would think it would be easier on the mechanism if the add on strip was on a slight angle to flip the seal gradually instead of all at one time. JMHO

Nice, do you have more info on this mod? I tried a few things in the search box, but couldn't find anything.

Yes. I still have the one from my wildcat but it doesn't fit the wider door on the rockwood. Can't find one long enough but it is noticeably better to have one installed.

Over the last 2 months I have done the following.
Washed the complete interior, walls celing, floors, blinds, and curtains. The PO raced dirt bikes so it spent a lot of weekends in the bush.
Sanitized the Fresh Water system
Raised the pin box
Relocated License Plate and added a light
Replaced
Brakes including back plate magnet shoes
Wheel Bearings and Seals
Gas Regulator
Single car battery and installed 2 GS batteries and vents
All (4) Grab Handles
Both Latches that hold the Doors open
Curtain Rods in the Garage
Roof Vent
Tires
Changed the rivets in the steps to bolts
Awning Motor
Added
Backup Camera
TPMS
Still not done but I am getting close

Yes but my door is too wide for the 28" handle. If you see a longer one advertised, Kenny, please let me know.

I just did a little resealing around some molding. Not pretty but it cleans up nicely after drying. Tomorrow, leveling the television riser mount and restringing a blind. Fun.

How bad were your brakes that you replaced everything?
I think I might check mine and repack bearings but where did you buy all your breaks from and bearings/Seals?

This one fits doors 28-5/8" wide.
It should fit.

It looks like the PO's truck was tall like mine so it was riding nose high which I think shifted more weight to the rear axle. The rear axle seals failed and the wiring for the magnet was brittle and broken, shoes were full of grease. The grease itself had the consistency of cool whip on both axles and they were not self adjusting.
that being said I replaced all the brakes with self adjusting ones and for no more than what they cost replace the bearing and seals.
I got everything from etrailer.

Drawers are installed. Not very big but functional for small stuff.
All my junk still sitting on the counter to put away.

That's an excellent idea. I'm probably going to steal it.
