I googled formula 303 and it returned a laxative. I'm guessing that's not what you are putting on the tires

Got her loaded for the trek to Davis Bayou in Ocean Springs, MS tomorrow. Added a little air to all five tires to put them right to 80. Rolling out in the morning.

Doesn't McGuires also make something like that? I am using MG Wax but never put it in the decals and there are so many on my Crusader it is a pain but prefer to keep them looking good by not waxing them.

Now that the DW is back from her overseas adventure, we are heading out for our first trip tomorrow (it has been about a year since we went anywhere). Been doing all the dewinter things and getting all the tires checked.

Was off work today, so pulled it out of the shop and tested the satellite and the trailer plug wiring for the golf cart trailer. All is good.... had the satellite signal in 2 minutes, and all lights work on the golf cart trailer. A storm was coming, so backed it back into the shop and unhooked. Got everything loaded for the trip to Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach tomorrow. I'm flying solo until Friday evening, so many beers will be drank!

Had three birds get in the shop during all the work today. Once the CFO got home she came out to help me get them out. Number 1 went out easy. Number 2 took some persuasion with the broom (from the roof of the camper). Number 3 refused. I actually split my melon open on the garage door opener mounting stock (angled steel) while trying to persuade him from the roof of the RV. Didn't realize how bad it was until I saw a puddle of blood on the camper roof. Neighbor buzzed my hair in the spot and glued the wound up saying I could use a stitch or two. Returned to the garage, chugged a beer, and went back to work getting the bird out. He just wouldn't cooperate, so I hit him with the BB gun (just one pump) hoping to daze it. It split the wing and he couldn't fly. Finished him off once I realized that, and no more birds.

Didn't mean to kill it as I usually only kill what I will eat, but he would have died anyway if he couldn't have got out of the shop. 20x14 door and he couldn't figure his way out.

Replaced a broken valve on the cold water feed line to my Suburban water heater. FR used brass valves but the stem had broken off the ball in the valve.

Busy couple of days. In between rain showers, camping, and generally goofing off, I:
1. Started by sanitizing the water system as soon as we got to the park.
2. Installed a WaterWorker 2 gallon pressure tank which entailed re-arranging the water pump, removing the factory installed water filter housing, and adding the ability to draw cold water from the back compartment on my rig. That will also be used to help winterize the system. Thanks to SeaDog for the idea and pictures of his install. And also to RockfordRoo on how to simplify the plumbing. I was making it WAY to complicated!
3. Installed a v.3 RV Lock. Not sure why, but initially, the keypad didn't want to talk to the lock. I ended up re-syncing to the lock using the factory default code and it decided to start working. Then I changed the code. DW is happy that she doesn't need a key to get in now!
4. Setup a Sewer Solution to replace the stinky slinky. Used just the basic parts - connection to trailer and connection to drain adding my own 40 foot hose. I'm sure I can manage just about any site now. And with a really heavy duty hose, people can walk on, drive over, weed whack, etc. the hose and it will be just fine, thank you. Since it drains slower, this will be mostly be used for full hookup sites. Nice that with the way it is designed, it fully cleans itself! Back rinsing the drain fittings with the SS, I got some additional TP out that I think was planning on trying to jam up the dump valve. Thanks to Fella10 for info on the SS parts. I'm keeping the slinky on-board for use at dump stations, especially when there is a line behind me...

Meanwhile SWMBO did her thing on the inside getting it setup to her satisfaction for the years outings.

All in all, not bad for few couple of days of camping and installing the planned mods!

I'll start by writing I'm NO Tech....LOL. I was just playing with the Television and stereo trying to figure it out.

Crazy thing is I took my wife outside last night to show her all my "hard work" getting the TV to play through the stereo, and it would not play !

Played with it some more ......I mean ' I worked on it" and it seems only to work in this sequence !

Jensen stereo on first and set to HDMC-ARC Mode. Then TV on !

There is a few seconds of delay after turning on the TV before the stereo sound kicks in !

Yes, the RV760 warns you if you are too high for a bridge or overpass.

Turned off the heat strip in my front a/c.


Camping at the Tadpole rally, it got pretty cool, so I set the thermostat to "heat" and the temp to around 65 or so to chase the chill away. I must have never turned it off. We are having a cool spell here and I guess it got cold enough last night to trip the thermostat.


I came out in the morning going to work and I wondered what that fan sound was. It sounded like it was coming from my camper, but that couldn't be possible. I looked up the street and there was nothing that could have been making that noise. I checked again, and sure enough, it was my front A/C unit.


At least I did turn off the main thermostat, or I'd be totally out of propane by now. LOL
