Wicked 1 I have the 2016 version of the antenna in the picture. The wingman just goes on the bottom of the antenna with push pins. What it does is make the antenna have more gain AND make it more directional. Compared to a lot of people whit "bat wings" I think I got lucky and got a "good one" from the factory. I can't wait to try the new wingman out where signals are weak to see what it does. With my $15 CW coupon it only cost $10 so how could I go wrong.Jay

Not something I physically did to the camper today, but I pre-ordered a new portable TPMS. It's supposed to do 4 wheels up to 80 psi and also monitors temperature and slow leaks on a receiver and cellphone app.

I won't get it until sometime in August since it was a new crowd funded type thing and that's when it starts shipping, but if it's good, I'll let people know.

Seriously, it's 1"x1" plastic mesh. I think it was 36" wide. Got it at Lowe's. Should be with all the other fencing materials. The green stuff I use is either 2"x2" or 2"x3" - also from either Lowe's or Home Depot. That was 24" wide, I believe.

Larry
Ah, thank you but that won't do what I wanted. I need a much smaller mesh (maybe 1/8 inch if I can find it).

Yes Herk7769 that is what I put on. Luckily for me I had plenty of room for the wingman to clear when the antenna is put down. Jay

Anyone know anything that will remove this yellowish color from my skylight? I may just break down and purchase a new one in smoke on Amazon if I can't get it clean?

You could give one of the kits for restoring headlight lenses a try, that may clean it up some. That is breakdown/oxidation of the acrylic from UV exposure.

Thought about that just wouldn't want to get any of that chemical on the roof, not sure what it would do, but I thought of ordering a new one and just being done. I think I will order one in Smoke instead of white or clear, they are all about the same price and smoke gives you a little more privacy anyway.

You can use the whitening toothpaste as well. Cheaper and same effect. I used it on DWs headlights. I tried the commercial stuff too and the whitening toothpaste worked better and lasted longer. It only lasts a few months on the headlights. I would order the skylight anyway. When cleaning you will likely have to press hard and crack it.

My question is why go all the effort if it's not broken or leaking? How many people are on top of your roof to see it. Spend that time camping! Just my opinion.

Your right but we wanted to let some light in, and the fact that I know it is brittle and ugly makes me need to change it. We bought this used so saved tons of $ and $88.00 to replace it would be worth the effort and cost to freshen a 2013 up [emoji847]

We added "Pantry" to our pantry door. (No clue why the image is sideways - it's perfectly normal when I simply pull up the link - http://shiflet.us/Pantry.jpg

Installed two Max-Air covers and two Camco Self-Stor Steps. They really make the first step solid..

Took out the aggravating constantly chirping co propane detector. It's almost 6 years old so it's at the end of it's life. Went to local camper dealer and they said they'd order me one, only had the propane only models. I asked how much, they said $120.
Told them I owed it to myself to shop around.

Came home and found a direct replacement on the internet for $77. Supposed to be here tomorrow.

Added bonus, that will stop a guest from charging in there and hitting their nose on the shelf thinking they're going into the bathroom.

Used it as a secondary refrigerator while waiting for the new house unit to arrive and get set up.
