Sorry to hear about that. I learned about the spark plug breaking issue before I bought my F-150 so I purposely bought an '09 to avoid the problem. They changed something about the 5.4L engine in '09. I had my plugs done once while I owned it and they came out without breaking much to the relief of my mechanic! I've heard that you should break them loose occasionally to avoid them getting seized in.

Put locking door set on bathroom door for some privacy. Made a bracket and mounted a level on it that I can see in rear view camera monitor in TV to tell when trailer is level without having to keep getting out and checking. (Yeah I'm that lazy). Works great

Thank you, I've had this truck for many years, I picked it up in 08, no one really knew about the problem way back when. With the Lisle tool it wasn't too bad. The starter through me for a loop though, never had a problem with it. She still has a little less than 90,000 miles, no rust a few small dents ( they will not be there next month ) so I really can't complain too much. She has been good to me. I keep eye balling the new all aluminum with ecoboost but I'm old school I love the bigger v8's and I trust them more to pull the heavy loads. ( not saying the new smaller ones will not or can't ) I read the specs on them and Ford claims the have more torque and horse power than mine... Maybe when my truck turns 20 or 30 Maybe.

That happened to me on an old trailer. Mine hung too low and dragged on ground wearing off sheathing and through wires.

Hmmm. Not sure how to prevent that... run SeaFoam in there 2-3 times a year... I am sure there is a Ford fan that will tell you.

Mine was pinched somewhere but I don't know where or how.

Last week, my students installed the mechanical portion of the blue ox tru centre.
I finished the electrical portion today.
Excited to try it out!
It is pretty huge.

Once I found out how thanks to this forum, I unscrewed 2 lights and dumped out the sawdust. Then I took down the inside part of the AC to see about any ductwork issues like others here have experienced. To my surprise everything was basically ok. I tied off the wiring, used some aluminum tape to do a little better sealing, cleaned the screens. While I was there I tightened down the white control box and sealed the screws to keep it from coming loose again. Had the camera ready but it wasn't worth pictures. Jay

Today I replaced the bedroom and bathroom vent lids, which were terminally damaged in a hail storm last month at Tybee Island, Georgia. After replacing the lids, I added two Max Air Vent covers. Now to figure out why my MH blows the 10 Amp power supply fuse at the storage lot (that's listed in another thread) and replace a few of the OE plastic drawer latches with some real ones. Getting ready for a Father's Day weekend trip to the OBX with my son and his family! Bring on the grandkids!Click image for larger version

Uncovered the rig during a dry spot in the weather yesterday and noticed a few spots in some of the sealant around some of the roof appliances were looking sub-optimal so I recoated the iffy spots with Dicor while I was on the roof.

Had to remove the CB Panel and the oppposite side panel to get to the screws but I think it was worth the effort for the "clean" look without trim boards. Found a good match at Lowes for the 1/4 round arount the walls so that was cool.

This just makes for easier cleaning when we are out running around the trails with the furkids and we are just not "carpet people" Left the carpet on the slide just because it covers the transition.

As you can see this was a government job as every worker had at least 2 supevisors!

Looks cleaner with the carpet pulled out, Great job.

I bought a roll of wire loom to go around the cable https://smile.amazon.com/Flexible-Po...ords=wire+loom I then wrapped the whole thing in electrical tape. It helps protect the cable. The loom gives a little bit of give to the cable, and not as "sticky", so it is less likely to get pinched. Also, I bought a carabiner to hold the cable away from the hitch assembly, so it wouldn't get pinched https://smile.amazon.com/Carabiner-K...1%22+carabiner

Installed shelving in the wardrobes to either side of the Murphy bed in our Rockwood 2509s. I had some spare MDF. The shelves can be removed as needed. Have to wonder why they weren't in there in the first place

They think we all have baby shirts and are going to use the hangers. When walking around you can always tell who the campers are, their shirts are all wrinkled at the bottom.
