On our last outing our thermostat (Digital Honeywell) quit working. So today I replaced it with an updated Honeywell from Home Depot for $26. This one is programmable daily, has a clock, & is backlit. Takes 2 AAA batteries that are suppose to last a year. We'll see about that.

How about the hi/low speed on the fan.. How are you controlling that?
The last one i put in I had to use a toggle switch to control hi/low speed.

I have a micro slide switch wired in to handle that. The new thermostat mount didn't have enough space to mount it like the last one and since we always use it on high anyways, I mounted the switch behind the thermostat panel. You can see it on the far right on the old panel mount.
Did some routine inspection and found loose U-Bolts so I torqued them all.
While I was under the back end I noticed that the belly cover was hanging low in the center. I attempted to push it up and it was hard to move because it was the fresh water holding tank. What I found was the tank bellowed out the bottom like it grew 2 udders. [emoji33] Attachment 150607
I had some 1.25 square steel tubing laying around and made a bolt-in cross member to support the tank. All is well now. Close one! Attachment 150609
This is what I have to do on my Wolf Pack toy hauler.
Nothing to the camper, parked TOWTA's old junker out by the highway with a FOR SALE sign on it. Only 78,330 miles on a 96.
Everything OK with Frankie?

Like so many, I have so much to do for our 5er but focusing on prep work first.
We bought our TV in October with an eye on towing so got the 2001 F-350 7.3L Super Duty Crew Cab.
Two weeks ago we found our TV needed left front ball joints, which lead to new tires all around and because we love life, we needed front brakes.
Our second entry on to our property resulted in me having an argument with our gate. I, the gate and TT got hurt.
My ego. --- DW will not let me forget it soon.
TT has some bent and scratched metal skirting and slightly bent steps. Need to fix. Have a plan.
The gate took a real beating though. Fortunately, the pressure treated 6 X 6 post that held the gate up had rotted over the years and snapped off at the ground level. The gate flipped under the TT tires and got flattened. Need to have the tires inspected.
This is when we were building the parking pad and just after. The neighbors came over to complain about all the noise.

Noise? The pics look like you are in the middle of nowhere! Or at least, no close neighbors.

Changing tires today. Bought a new 17.5" steel rim and tire for the spare to replace my 16" spare (which is currently on the trailer). That bloody thing is frightfully heavy!

Put in some anchors and strapped the camper down, just in case.
Best of luck

Installed the front JT's today.
Easy peasy. Got a great deal from a fellow forum member. The backs will have to wait as I need to remove the current MaxxAir Fan and get the MaxxFan Deluxe installed tomorrow while the weather cooperates.
