I have a 30A extension cord that they female end had a ridge around it that prevented seating properly to the TT's cord. So, changed it out to an aftermarket socket.

This past weekend work

Sealed the roof, removed and reinstalled the self leveling sealer where needed or looked like it could use more. ( two tubes ), waxed the entire camper, just one coat, took way tooo long, but really looks good now.

Replaced the broken deadbolt red handle, replaced the tv antenna crank handle, it was cracked and giving us a hard time from time to time.

We changed out our silly airbed sofa for a Simmons hide a bed sofa. Finally no more replacing a fricken air mattress that got used two or three times then failed. The Simmons is a bit longer folded out so there is pretty much an inch clearance to the kitchen cabinets when it is folded out but that is not an issue.

What I have found is that:
a) Using the Android app, adding an attached photo creates a duplicate...but once the thread is refreshed the duplicate disappears; and
b) The forum's software doesn't read the image's EXIF data to automatically rotate the photo to its proper orientation. Many image viewers, however, do. So if your phone's internal gyroscope doesn't automatically get it right in determining how you're holding the phone when you snap the shutter, it may look correct elsewhere but it won't look correct on the forum.

If your phone or computer has a photo editing program on it by opening the photo in that program, checking orientation or fixing orientation, and then saving it will fix the problem.

Wondering if it would have been a good idea to mount the valve on the output side of the pump. If you forget to open it, the pump will cycle off almost immediately and shouldn't be harmed. Thoughts???

There was not sufficient space on that side of the pump. Access would have easier on that side but I just could not make it work.

Yes, that would work and would be better than on the suction side in the manner shown in the photo.

I think I'd have just sliced off the ridge with a hacksaw first. A LOT cheaper!

I've done that with a utility knife a few times.
The ridge/ring is designed to help 'weatherproof' the connection.
Problem is, many mating connectors don't go down inside the ridge/ring and then you get poor connectivity from them not mating fully. I always cut that off any cord I've ever had.

Ya gotta do what you can make work. I pulled the water filter out of my unit and added a pressure tank. Since I was mucking with the plumbing, I moved my water pump and remounted it 90 degrees to it's orginal orientation and pushed it farther back in the compartment it is in. Ended up with more use-able storage than before I put in the 2 gallon tank!

Removed the old drop-battery box and put in a piece of aluminum on the floor to close up the space. The new lithium batteries don't need to be vented and without a box, I can fit more squeezed in.

Also got the battery cables hooked up to the output side of the battery switch and the house 12v positive side. Not that it's actually hooked to batteries, but slowly but surely I'm getting there.

I need to speed up- need all of the batteries in place by Thursday so I can have 2 days of drive to drop the camper off at storage on Saturday for a few days. My plan is that the fridge will have plenty of power to run for 5 days on 12v + propane. We'll see!

What lithium batteries did you choose?

And, how much food are you leaving in it as your "wager"? Maybe just some ice cubes????

But, but, but..... not everyone initially sees the obvious.

I'd have used a belt sander. Proof that I am not one with keen insight.

I would have gummed up my belt with plastic before I could find the hacksaw and yeah I probably have gone to the replacement being one that does not see the obvious.

Put a hinge on the cover and use the space to store something.
