I am planning to replace the stock dry chemical extinguisher with one that uses halotron. From my one experience with dry chem, an oil fire in my small cabin, I know that it goes everywhere and takes weeks to clean up. I also understand that it plays havoc with electronics, which my 2017 Forrester 2401WS relies on heavily.
I know it's an expensive option but damage to the electronics would be much, much more, especially if we were on a trip when an extinguisher was needed.
Am I on the right track, any thoughts?

Good move. Replaced mine. The one that was here is only for outside. Have used Halon for years.

Remounting my fence post sewer holder. Also removed a self taping screw fr so thoughtfully drove right out the frame and not quite into my rubber propane line!

Yep,
Prime time and my dealer didn't think my gas line rubbing on the slide gear trac was a problem either, really?
I since then have wrapped that part of the line with pipe wrap (not shown in pic.

I have two halon bottles in the TT, one in the truck and four in the house. In addition to being clean the are extremely fast and efficient at putting out fires.

I put Cousin Eddy on the shelf next to a frog. I have to be careful with it though, the package says it is a chocking hazard. Why would I put that in my mouth?
