2013 R-Pod 171, removed refrigerator.

There's a perimeter gasket at the back of the refrigerator which is intended to keep carbon monoxide from making its way back into the living quarters. Forest River's installation of gasketing and refrigerator was utterly incompetent, with air gaps visible around the perimeter of the gasket. The bottom portion had been fouled by feet on the bottom of the appliance, and was pushed back a full four inches on the aft side.

I'm still uncertain as to how I'm going to get gasketing in there which will actually do the intended job, but I'm going to. I hate going to sleep and never waking up...

Pulled it home from storage lot, had a weird sound from wheel. Pulled tire and found something inside drum was busted loose. DH didn't feel comfortable messing with drum and brakes so It is now at dealership awaiting diagnosis as to what broke inside my brakes!

Well after 4 years I decided I'd check the hub bearings, happy to see that only 1 seal had very slight leak, all others dry. Not too bad, I did use the easy lube fittings just after we bought it, very careful, rotating the tire's as I slowly pumped grease in, on a warm summer day too. Brakes I'd guess about 50% if I had to make an educated guess I'd say we had about 12,000 miles on it. So with all that going as good as it could've I decided to give it a quick wash, and by quick I mean the 3 hour wash, now I gotta put something on it to maybe keep a shine.

Looked at it longingly as it sleeps under cover.

Hope it’s an easy fix and doesn’t get complicated or expensive. We’ve been down the expensive one and it’s not fun.

thanks. These brakes are only a year old with not much mileage on them. Wear and tear what can you say?

Yup! Do the disk brake upgrade and never look back. 100% the best money I have ever spent on any RV.

I changed out the blue light in the fridge to a white light that Dometic sent to me at no charge. It took all of 5 minutes to change it out

OMG, every day it's something else.

Today, bought wraparound step cover rugs to keep the inside cleaner this season - got "Expresso" color and it should match the 2018 Grey Wolf exterior nicely.

The day before, I bought some throw rugs reasonably priced at Home Depot.

The day before that, we ordered a custom-made short queen mattress to upgrade the uncomfortable stock mattress that came with my TT.

I can't wait for camping season to start here in the Northeast because going stir crazy for camping can be expensive.

Happy trails,

CTSS

Well we all have seen the little carry handles that snap together to carry electrical cords and other items. Here is what i use mine for carrying the WDH

Last trip of 2017 outside kitchen sink had a drip on hot water. It was because pulling shelf/sink in/out for 2 seasons caused the PEX crimp loosened up and started to drip.

Look at the black zip tie. It was not good enough to hold connections solid

I used shark bite brand since easy to get on amazon

I am glad i read the directions for the shark bite only needing 5/16 insertion for connection. Wall side PEX was rigid and went on really well. Sink side was flexible PEX and was somewhat bigger in diameter when I inserted it it just did not go in very far I was worried

I i filled fresh tank up some started pump to work air out of lines and fill water heater. I now have city water connected and not leaks.

I really was surprised since the flex PEX did not insert very much.

One thing that is nice with the shark bite brand is the kind of rotate/spin to allow to pull drawer/sink in and out.

This did not work very well so i went with 2 metal hold downs

Here in NC weather has been just right, we might go next week for a quick trip.

We are thinking about doing some driveway camping tonight.

Nice job. Have you checked the other connections? When I first got my camper I checked all the plumbing and found several loose connections. Great QC.
