I repaired the door latch on my WF-8955PEC power converter, which had broken about 1.5yrs ago. Since it broke, it was held closed using green duct tape.
The new latch was under $5 and took about 7min to install.
Open the door, remove 2 screws, pop out the old latch, press in new latch, reinstall the 2 screws and close the door. It was so easy and cheap that I am a bit embarrassed that I hadn't fixed it 1.5 yrs ago.

I moved my old tire winch so I could installed a second, now I have two spare tires under the rear of our 5er. Gives me peace of mind knowing I have two spares.

Got 4 GY Endurance LR E (instead of D) on the TT. Bought a second spare rim and had them mount my newer Maxxis (that I bought 2 yrs ago to replace one of the original tires that had developed a slow leak) onto it so now I have two spares. As stated above, extra piece of mind especially with our multi-thousand mile national park trip coming up in June.

For me, I bought one from America’s Tire. It was even a 17.5” rim which is less common than others.

Yeah we have always enjoyed either there or Ft Whaley. They have gotten a bit more expensive then when we first began to visit in a tent 15 years ago but still a nice place to visit.

We usually go about 15 more min south to Pokomoke River State Park. It’s nice close drive to Salisbury, Ocean City, Assateague, and Chincoteauge area.

Yeah this is a little further than we usually try to go for a first trip of the season. I usually try to stay closer in case something broke during the winter. But the wife... She wants to go away... Happy wife happy life.

Topped off the propane and started packing for the first trip of the year, Townsend, TN. Of course going to Gatlinburg and the Forge. Hopefully catch a glimpse of Dolly in Dollyworld.

I used to live in Pigeon Forge for 16 years. Great place to visit. Beautiful views and friendly people.

Spent about an hour on the roof removing snow so I could take the cover off.

The cover was spread out in the driveway for a couple hours to dry off.

Roof seals inspected.

Cover was bagged and put away.

Batteries reinstalled on the front of the camper.

Camper has been plugged in to keep batteries charged.

Opened slides for the first time all season and interior was inspected. All looks good.

The weight of the snow has bent the TV antenna a bit. I must get back on the roof and unbend it.
