Our skylight had a lower part with plexiglass. We applied window tint to that.

It was fugly because we bought the tint from Amazon and the roll was all but squashed to the point that it was folded. But it worked well to cut the heat.

I bought some 2" polyfoam at Hobby Lobby. Cut it slightly larger that the skylight and vent opening. Push it in. It stays put and can be easily removed when not needed/wanted.

Ordered a swing out bracket and Kebloc from L & W Engineering (lw-eng.com)as the first step in a bit of a shell game. The new Kebloc will go in the bedroom. The swing arm will go on the back of the main TV. Finally, the fixed mount from the main TV will go on the bedroom TV.

A friend of mine uses solar screen between the lower and upper pieces of the skylight. Claims it works well.

This was yesterday but.... I hung 2 of the beach signs on the wall with clear reusable Magic Hooks and got my 3 sensor thermometer set up with one in the freezer, one in the fridge and one outside. Now I can tell indoor temp, fridge temps and outside temp all in one place.

AND it looks sharp from inside. I remember noticing that.

Fixed a boo boo...

Repaired the black water flush connector I managed to pull out of the wall at a dump station. See http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...or-160269.html

I took the inside cover off of ours and put reflectix in there. Blocks the heat and the light that way

What did you do to your camper today?

This tip did work, closed vent we arrives

Also thanks to all that offered tightening it would prevent it from opening

Did you lay a piece in there or push and form it against the upper skylight? I’m just a little concerned whether the heat would build up too much in there and deform the skylight.

I’m actually working on a custom inside solution for ours. Will be able to Velcro in place inside or remove if needed. Also using custom material so can add a designer touch to the rv ceiling.

Initial prototype is working well this week. Blocking light and a whole lot of heat.

Will post some pics once I finish off the prototype. [emoji3]

Best Mod so far!

Recieved our custom tire cover from tirecovers.com. Love it! Think we will get pulled over?
