I attempted to replace the caps on my low point drains with plastic 1/2" ball valves but unfortunately the 2 lines won't separate far enough apart to allow the second valve to twist on without the handle hitting the other valve. If you could remove and reinstall the handles on the valves it would work.
The plastic valves cost CDN$4.88 each at Home Depot here in Canada. I know I could use Sharkbite valves but they cost CDN$18.68 which is just not justifiable for the convenience.
From the pic, it seems like you should have enough room to screw them on if you OPEN the valve (handle in line with the valve) and have someone spread the two hoses as far apart as possible.

Those plastic valves are pretty big. I also wanted valves, so I cut the PEX and installed two brass lever valves. They were PEX clamp on valves.

Installed the MicroAir Easy Start box. It actually works with one generator. But with the two Honda 2000’s paralleled and in Eco mode they hardly make any extra sound when the AC comes on.
Installed LED tape lighting in our pantry and a Windy Nation linear actuator to lift the master bed. The old we get the harder it is to get in that area. DW really likes it.

I like that linear actuator idea! What length and weight rating did you use?
Nice job with the lights also. I did similar last year on ours and it's great. The one I bought has a mini motion sensor and the lights come on just from opening the pantry door.

Used a 16” actuator. I attached it to the short 2x4 which is secured to the bed platform from the top with screws. That way if the actuator was to break all I have to do is remove the screws and it will drop off. I also mount the switch to the platform. This is the momentary switch it only works as long as you have your finger on it. that way I can control exactly where how far the bed opens and closes

Overflowed my rear black tank this morning. To make matters worse, the washer/dryer is incorrectly plumbed to it. The overflow came up and out of that into the garage to the super soft shag carpet back there.
I always felt like the 2 black tank flushed felt backwards. The one in the water bay with the other hookups is the rear tank (1/2 bath). The one outside on the wall is the front tank (full bath).
Argh, dang it.

Second, the washer is plumbed to the black? That’s risky. You can’t really stop the washer from draining if it’s full, like you can when flushing.

A similar thing happened to my neighbor down the street. It required mitigation for health reasons. Mold, bacteria etc. Cost him big $ but the insurance paid for it. Check with your agent.

I think the linear actuator is going on the list if only because, annoyingly, the gas pistons will lift the lid when you pick up on the mattress when making the bed. Might set it up to open a bit further than the pistons do at the same time.

Yeah, Prime Time has approved it as a warranty fix (to plumb it back to the gray like it should have been), but now I have to find time to get it worked on. We’ve been moving a lot and have been pretty busy lately.
