What did you do to your camper today?

Replaced my water pump because it went "brump, brump" every 5 minutes like there was a leak. Of course there wasn't. Now it will go for hours without "brumping".

Scoped out the new location for the accumulator under the bathroom sink.

Had to repair a loose molding on the slide, for some reason it pulled loose. FR installed it with cheap nails, it is screwed in now. The cheap trim used to cover the center broke in one place, luckily my youngest loves to paint and mixed a color that matched to cover up the crack after I reinstalled it. I also adjusted the sliding glass mirror in the bedroom.


These week is a quick turn around for another trip next weekend. In July we have a 2 day turn around between trips.

We went to Merry Mac campground. Great campground, sites are a little close but nice place. I added a set of strip lights to the bottom frame rail, awesome look. This was our second time out and found out the AC dosent work so I took it back to the dealer today to get that working before our 4th of July trip. Also noticed right by the front door the paneling popped out and cracked right by the door, hope they can fix that to make it look nice again. It is a great trailer and cant wait to take it out again next week

took freedom express to lake to try out for second trip. Tried slide stabilizers due to Oklahoma wind. Bought waste tote for trip over 4th with no sewer hookup. Should be interesting with 4 people staying in camper. Foam topper for bed and new shower head. Lots of things to get before full timing first of the year. Retiring again.

If you are concerned about the rig rocking because of wind I would not use slide stabilizers and go with something like steadyfast (system I have) or JT strong-arm Using slide stabilizers you run the risk of doing damage to your rig. I also use X-chocks and my rig is rock solid.

Noticed my skylight was leaking this past weekend while camping in a heavy rain storm. Took the inside cover off and everything looks dry, but still left it open to air out. Got up on the roof and found a small hole in the factory dicor which I assume is letting the water in. Cleaned and sealed all the seams with eternabond, should be good now!!!

Replaced the bulbs in the pendant lamps over the kitchen island with LEDs with projector lenses (much brighter work area now). Added Pop Toggle anchors to the clamps holding up the cross belly gas line (previously attached only with screws into the plasti-board belly material). Lubed the electric stabilizers. Treated all my slide seals. Added a strap to the bottom of my license plate (to keep it from blowing off like a previous trailer). Replaced the horrible blue fridge interior LEDs worth white.

Finished up the install of new Led awning lights. They came out nice just not going to be able to decide on color now. I spent the extra money and brought the name brand Boogey lights as they seem to be made much better than the cheap stuff. These are the bluetooth kit that is controlled from your phone the app has lots of cool features. Then I gave the trailer a good washing for this weekend trip up to the Poconos.

Looks good. As far as which colour, I’ll let you in on a learning from the first time I used mine. DD’s choice of purple coincidently is the same colour as a bug zapper.

When set to white color, is it really white? I have a cheap set and the white is very blue-ish.

My minor bulb knowledge says.... Buy the highest temperature bulbs you can buy as rated in Kelvin degrees. These will be the whitest color.

When set to white these match the factory white LEDs on the camper side just a lot brighter. They have a dimmer feature on the app if they are too bright. I glued them right to the awning roll. I wired them with 4 pin waterproof connectors so I unplug them when I roll awning in. The wire fit perfect in the awning bars next to factory wires.

Our popup had an outside kitchen that was in a pull out drawer. It had a sink with hot and cold water plumbed to drain into the grey tank and a two burner stove. That kitchen was the biggest reason we took 6 years to go to the hybrid; none of the hybrids we found have outside kitchens. So when we finally went with the hybrid, we figured we could rig up an outside kitchen. Our first attempt only had cold water and we really wanted hot and cold water, so here is the prototype using a faucet, fish cleaning table, tubing and quick disconnects. The faucet is plumbed to the low point drains so we have hot and cold water and the waste water drains to the waste tote.

I thought about doing similar for our BBQ contests, but I didn't think there'd be enough water pressure from the low point drains, how does it work?
