If you're interested, most KOAs have "Camping Cabins" you can rent and some state parks and private campgrounds may have yurts or cabins or even rental trailers. That would allow you to camp only occasionally at much less expense than owning a depreciating asset like a trailer.
We stayed in one 6 years ago in Montana with some friends. Didnt use the trailer becaue the truck was brand new and wanted to break it in first.

We liked it, brought our stuff, had the same kind of fun, and then left.

While we will still camp, it feels like now we are forced to as a vacation because we own the trailer. Now if we want to do something different we can

If we used it more, but work and schedules dont line up. So it summer time only

Winterized and buttoned 'er up for the long winter. Pushed it to the edge of the envelope this year! Will shift gears towards winter activities, Thanksgiving, Christmas and short vacations to Vegas & Hawaii. Come Break-Up (April-May 2019) we'll take it out of hibernation and start all over again!

Do you condition afterwards?

Turned on the fridge and put some "camping sodas" in it. Getting ready for our last camping trip of the season this coming weekend.

Replaced the crappy fan in the bathroom with a Fan-Tastic Fan. Works great.

I might be adding one to over our bed since it's just a vent right now.

I was tempted to put in one of those Vortex ones until I heard some bad reviews on them.

Restrung one of my pleated day/night shades. Not as easy as the videos portray, especially if whomever manufactured it super glued a couple end plugs in and/or you break a couple trying to get them out.

Today I replaced the small bathroom fan with a Vortex II fan. It was an easy job that took about 15 minutes. I hope it lasts.

Had to deal with the super glued end plugs on one of my blinds. That definitely makes the process a lot harder and 10000x more frustrating.
Congrats on getting it restrung. Hope that you treated yourself to a few beer after that job. [emoji481][emoji481][emoji481]

I was going to do that but decided just to cut the wire and leave out the switch. Not very humid where we camp typically.

Restocked towels, washcloths etc, for next trip
Put a portable electric heater in the trailer
Took a power strip for under the dinette, easier to plug stuff in
Washed 'Reds' windows
Repacked our dog fence

Finished loading the travel trailer today for tomorrow's departure for the winter. Going to take a look at southern Idaho and eastern Oregon, and then drop down into Nevada and end up in Phoenix for two months visiting our grand kids. Then, off to Desert Hot Springs for 6 weeks to see good friends from Alaska. My oncologist has told me I have a clean bill of health from my prostate cancer, so, we aren't going to waste any time.

After 2 weeks in the Smoky Mountains, I had a Castle Rock (China Bomb) event on the way home. Replaced all 4 with new Goodyear Endurance today!
