My work was done on the road today. The new (to me) F250 pulled the trailer great and my 2 sons and I got set up for a nice January night of camping. We even got a challenge for breakfast. The keys are just a perspective. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!!Click image for larger version

Lucky You

Read your post of January camping this weekend. I am jealous, put our 2018 Surveyor 243RBS to bed (winterized) last week of October and won't be going again until April. Temperature is 11 degrees here in Kansas City area right now, with a low expected around 7. Enjoy and

That is really cold. We've been enjoying a seasonally high of 50° and enjoying it. It's great spending time away from home and in our family get-a-way. Even watching kids movies and hanging out for the evening is fun.

High of 50°. We will see our first high of 51° Monday. My little girl wants to see snow but it isn't very easy to promise a trip with snow when you have to plan it.

It's snowing and 9* here this morning. I'll be looking at my camper while I'm plowing and shoveling later today.

Come on up to the mountains of PA.
Plenty of snow (12" more last night) and a high today of 6°. No camping here for months.

After hours of rumination, cogitating and calculating, I ordered a Dometic 320 porcelain toilet for my TT. Plan to put it in next week.

That will be a nice upgrade once you get through the constipation!

Three cheers for north country. 3 hrs shoveling - 13 degrees F. Full body workout. Yup, no camping until late May.

Replaced the Dinosaur board for the fridge in the 5'er and put a new CO/LP detector in the motor home.

New Dino board did not fix my issue so I guess I have a spare now

Fridge appears to lose AC, switches to propane for about 1 second (never lights) and then goes back to AC - repeats until I turn off the fridge power then it's fine for a day or two. Or maybe an hour. It cools fine and I cna hold 36-40 deg with no problem.

Dometic RM 1272.

Use an extension cord to a separate shore power outlet to plug your fridge power cord into. If the problem goes away, then;

Check your RV AC connections. Outlet plugin, outlet wiring, circuit breaker wire connection to breaker, circuit breaker solidly seated, etc.

If the problem does not go away it's in the fridge circuits. I'd have to see the wiring diagram to proceed from there.

BTW the Dinosaur board has a thermistor bias adjustment to tweak the temperature.

You can do it without running water. Just got back from a trip to witchita. I would not tow in the snow but before and after. Normally I take my trailer winterized but had to tow this one instead so I put my heater in my tent.Click image for larger version
