I did read thru the Clear Source site. Site FAQ indicated they use standard 10x2.5" filters. The string filters are available everywhere for $2-3. Spotted the Pentek CFB-PB10 0.5 micron filter at Walmart for $15.
The concern on flow rate is the 0.5 micron filter. Some have rates as low as 1/2 gpm, the Pentek can get up to 4 gpm.

If you are taking water out of a stream where it might contain cryptosporidium, Giardia, entamoeba, Toxoplasma Cysts, then you really need the .5 micron filter. I would install a separate unit with that filter tee'd off the cold water line to the kitchen sink and with it's own drinking water faucet.
Of course if you are doing that (using stream water) then it would be highly recommended to add clorox to the water tank with every fill in the amounts recommended on the clorox website.
Other than for drinking water I don't really see the need for a .5 micron filter if you are using a good, filter with charcoal. Just remember, the cheaper the filter element the more likelihood it doesn't filter as well as those that cost more. Not that price guarantees better quality but that better quality usually costs more.

The water is not as bad to me as some people think, I have only found a few places that had nasty water, but I don't drink the water out of a tank, I do make coffee and everything else from it, I just don't drink it, just buy a case of bottled water, but to each there own,

Bottled water is just water that someone else filtered for you. According to some test results over the years, filtered water can be pretty nasty if you read the lab reports.
Your 'pure' bottled water has contaminants, too - Health - Diet and nutrition | NBC News
If you sanitize your water system at least once per year and only fill it from a known "good" source it's as drinkable as bottled water, especially if you run it through a quality filter.
I double down and add up to 3.5 tsp of clorox to my tank when I fill it. Tank water is freshly "chlorinated" with each fill and kills most organisms while sitting there. My water filter removes any residual chlorine taste. Water comes from my tap just as clear as it does from a bottle.

In most cases, you're drinking the same water the CG owner drinks.

When we started fulltiming, we would buy 10-12 gallons of water a week; mostly in 2 1/2 gallon containers. Additionally, we would buy a case of water every other week or so.
It was cost effective for us to get our Berkey Water Filter, some reusable 2 gallon containers, and a set of 12 reusable water bottles and “make” our own filtered water.
The Berkey only does our drinking and cooking water. This is in addition to all of that as a whole house filter.
What can I say? We’re picky about water.

Hooked up and moved it to the front drive. Noticed some loud squeaking coming from the hitch ,16k revolution hitch with the wedge installed . It sounds like its dry, no grease. Is this common on the first pull of the year? It has been parked since early November. I purchased it used last September and not sure how many miles are on it. I dont think it was used very much , because the dealer that I purchased it from had just got it on trade. They didn't even have time to clean it up. I didn't see any bugs or mud, tar and such on the front cap. Should I be worried about the noise at this point? Oh and I keep looking at the castle rock tires , I'm very worried about them ,they are coming off this week.

Pull the hitch apart and grease it.
Seems a common thing for them to get tight and need grease.
There are plenty of past threads about folks who have.
And you know there's plenty of threads on the CR tires.
If nothing else, get a tire pressure monitoring system.

I had the same hitch for 7 years, I never greased it, when they first came out Reese never had that in there service manual, then about 3 years later they put it in I think. If you drop that hitch, it's not a one man job. For most people I should say it's very heavy. Mine always squeaked from time to time, it go's away at least for me. Glad to hear your getting rid of those CR. Safe travels

Thank you for the info, I'm going to take it off and grease it, as far as th CR tires, they just scare me. It seems that most members here are going with the Goodyear's, endurance. Do you know if they make them in E rated?

I think they do, they seem to be popular, when I changed tires I went with maxis, it's a very good tire and they come in E for sure. I'm not yet sold on Goodyear yet, there still pretty new but seem to be making the mark.

Yes they do for larger sizes.
When my CR's failed I went with Goodyear Endurance E rated when 3 of the 4 CR's (on the ground) went bad at the same time. I also replaced the spare and bought one extra. When we take longer trips (600-1000 miles+) I always carry an extra spare.

Again, yes.
Here is a link to the E rated Goodyear Endurance in your size.
Lots of places sell them, I'm providing the link for reference only.

We just use bottle water to drink , but we only camp for a week at a time. If I was parked at a CG for long periods of time i would probably use filters But still not 100% sure I would. I think my wife has stock in the water bottling company. Thank goodness beer doesn't need filtered I would definitely have to get a filter.

This video from Reese will give you an idea of what's involved in regular greasing of the Revolution pinbox. I don't know if you need the service kit or how often it should be done, but the it'll give you a good idea of what's involved in the tear down and reassembly.
