I got a price this morning from a local tire shop that does large trailers and they quoted me:
Maxxis M8008 CAD$167.40 + $30 installation (including all-steel valve stem)
Goodyear Endurance CAD$158.38 + $30 installation (including all-steel valve stem)
The exchange rate today is about CAD$1 = US$0.7504, so in US dollars that would be:
Maxxis M8008 US$148.13 installed per tire
Goodyear Endurance US$141.36 installed per tire

That's where the Berkey Water Filter and reusable water bottles proves themselves. We used to buy a case of water bottles every week or so. Now, we only buy a case of water when we go to a hotel for a while (which is fairly rare, maybe 1x per year).
It's not a cheap buy-in, but definitely was worthwhile for us. Plus, we aren't throwing away/recycling a large number of single-use disposable bottles.

I'm definitely going to start looking. I've been reading other post about tire blow outs. And all the damage it can cause.

While it's called "Hotties Detailing", that's definitely a lie. 3 dudes and a bunch of missing teeth. Unless you're into that sort of thing. If so, you go girl.
Happening now...
Wash and wax of the RV. Wash the awnings. And then interior/exterior detailing of the truck.
I might end up poor by the time they're done, but it'll be sooo worth it.

Main reason for my use of the filter setup. Too much plastic floating around the world and going into the trash.
Most likely the 0.5 micron filter is overkill, but it's cheap insurance. I only need 1 filter a year.
Added benefit for me, my setup is tongue heavy and FW tank is at the tail of the trailer, so hauling FW helps.

It's interesting to me that beer actually helped solve the 1854 cholera outbreak in London. The outbreak hit more women and kids than adult men. Dr. Snow heard that the men only drank beer and that was part of his analysis that led to the source.

Thanks , I saw that video today ,it looks fairly easy to take apart and hit it with some grease. I will check the bearing also.

If you do this, let me know where you find a socket to remove that big castle nut!

Yes they do! Just put them on my fiver last Oct, due to Doctors we haven't put many miles on them but things are looking up for both of us. I think in April we'll be on the road again!

Got into an argument with low hanging cables today. First trip of the new year. Pulled the trailer out Saturday to pack Sunday. Driver side rear tire flat, looks like end of welders rod stuck in the side wall . Swap out with the Spare Sunday. Monday set up camp closest town with tire is 90 miles. Make the trip Tuesday after fog and mist let up. Get back in time to enjoy time outdoors. Tuesday night big storm hits trailer rocks and rattles but holds up. Decide to move locations day early to avoid the 30 plus mph winds able to skirt most of wind. Get to new campground to big to fit without blocking multiple other sites. So we “ camp” in street next to friends house 40 ft from busy on ramp to I 10 very loud. Go to leave this morning forgot about cables running across the street. The cables take out front A/C shroud. Stuck blocking traffic to the on ramp truck all the way across first lane blocking part of second. Don’t see sparks so climb latter lift each cable over rest of roof obstacles. Drag center leveling jack on pavement due to uneven road. Get home only one business 55 miles away has cover but $70 higher than same product online but need now not a few days. So I drive round trip to get it and bundle of shingles to replace the ones that blew off while I gone. Still enjoyed the trip

What did you do to your camper today?
1: Installed my oxygenics shower head.
2: swapped out bathroom doorknob that was rubbing the finish off some wood trim for a lever.
3: Repaired a broken door mechanism.
4: installed a grab bar in the screen door.
5: dewinterized
6: sanitized water system
7: battery maintenance
Got it back 2 weeks ago after2 months waiting on warranty work. The honeydew list kept growing!

Pulled my convection microwave out. It up and died last week. Primetime/Spartan is sending me a new one.
The towel in the picture is to block heat coming in the vent.

Of course,... a TPMS will guarantee that you will never have a blow-out, right?

I bought my Castle nut socket at Napa, look by the tractor sockets. I think it's like 21/4 or something, but they do have them.
