Glad you got it fixed. I didn’t type what I was thinking... set the bottom in about halfish way...having the top turned just right... call on the gods for guidance... do a Houdini move...schooch the tank in a bit more... do the hokie-pokie....finish by wiggling till the band clamp fits... aligning the bolt hole at the top...fasten hose and open valve. No in my original post I stated that I had tried to wire an illuminating switch in. Brought it home when the rain started.

OK, I missed that. Did you try to wire as in my 2nd wiring diagram?
Perhaps you put the +12VDC lead on the wrong end of the switch?

I spent the afternoon moving my TT up to the driveway and setting it up. I've still got to de winterize it but decided to wait until next weekend for that.

Drove the Sunseeker to my mechanic's garage for much anticipated installation of adjustable bushings to be installed tomorrow. Tomorrow I will call for an appointment for the front end alignment. Hope to just go from one place to the other.
Found out the mechanic's son is the one who does the alignments at the other joint. Confidence is running REAL high it will be performed to utter satisfaction. [emoji41]

Yesterday....finally picked our new early-2019 (same as a late-2018) Rockwood Signature 8290BS fifth wheel and immediately took it to a nearby KOA for a one night stay on a full hook up site. Everything works although I’ll need to see if I can figure out how to get more warm air from the furnace (which is just behind the pass-through) to the rear of the camper. The electric fireplace nicely supplemented the furnace to heat the huge space with 2 opposing super slides. Love the auto-level and hooking up the 5er is much easier than the TT with WDH. I installed SnapPads on the feet of the 4 levelling legs. Now to mouse-proof it and install the 50A PI EMS before our first trip in 2 weeks.

yesterday I looked in the hatches (small ones on a small tow behind) and thought there was a ton of space being covered by a series of filler panels smashed together.
so I removed the panels, tidied up the wiring and put some scrap carpet I had for my Side By Side floors down. now I can store at least 4 times the amount of items.

I installed a 100 watt solar panel the day before and it manage to charge the (somewhat bad) battery in ~9 hours of bulk, ~ 1.2 hours of absorption and ~ 2 hours of float each day with the panel facing west.
You can see the panel between the two front dome windows.

Not sure if I posted it. It's now broken in and oil changed. I've only run it on propane. Still need to test out with camper and A/C and all that...
Batteries installed. 420AH. They're heavy...
A filter on the return air inlet. Hope to keep the drawer area cleaner and the furnace cleaner (my dad had a sail switch issue, hoping to avoid that, too).
This panel didn't fit my door. Eventually we realized it DID fit inside the existing screen frame. We removed the screen, trimmed the panel, and glued it in. Unusual, but it worked.
Clothes line in the tub for wet swimsuits...
This was a gift. Chain holder as well as a cap for the umbilical...
TireMinder installed.
Of course, there's still more to do.......

What did you do to your camper today?
I just used an old cover from my old golf bag and added a few button snaps to keep it on. I like the idea of adding a couple of straps to hold the chains.
