Got the Protect-a-Tow attachment points installed on the Sunseeker and Liberty.

Thanks for all the help, Gary!

Ready to go next week to Illinois!

I hate those high fees. In Georgia we have to pay $100-$300 for travel trailer or fifth wheel tags. But, all motor homes (even a million dollar plus Prevost) are only charged $20 a year for tags. Go figure.

At least it’s not as high as California.

Man your not kidding. went with DH to San Diego for his job and Uber driver to us the cost of regs. I told hubby that I won't ever complain again about our fees.

Fuse to CB

Replaced the in-line fuse for the power jack with a marine grade manual circuit breaker.

Camping on the Oregon coast this past weekend in my 2017 Wildcat 24RG and tried to use my heater for the first time ever since new. I couldn't get my thermostat to come on. Then my wife noticed the bathroom vent wasn't working either. Checked for loose wires everywhere and blown fuses and couldn't find anything. Then noticed one fuse that was looser than all the rest in its spade connectors. After wiggling it I miraculously had power. Grabed some needle-nose pliers and pinched the two spade connectors for that fuse and had heat all weekend!

A milk crate helps but won't keep it upright... I know!
How fast are you turning? I could never turn my truck and trailer that fast to flip a tank without flipping the trailer too.

I was referring to hauling a loose LP tank in the bed of the truck when going for a refill.

My tanks are strapped down in the 5th wheel so yes... you'd have to flip the R/V for them to turn over there.

We are getting ready for a two week trip to the Grand Canyon (from Michigan). Hopefully, The Wife, the two kids, and I survive the long days of driving. A buddy of mine made a decal for our camper that has our family's hashtag that we've used for blogging on our trips for the last couple of summers. Got to put it on today.Click image for larger version

Had the bearings repacked and the brakes serviced at a local trailer shop.

Also had all 5 Castle Rock LR E tires (including the spare) replaced with Goodyear Endurance LR E tires (manufacture date 4318 and 4518 so they are only 5 months old). I couldn't believe the difference in the the 2 tires. The Castle Rocks are much more flexible and much lighter than the Goodyears. When aired up to the max. 80 psi, the Castle Rocks were high on the sides and low in the middle of the tread. Tire guy suggested they were over-inflated but I've never over-inflated them. One of the CR tires does look like the center tread was a bit more worn but the others don't exhibit that. I'll try to re-sell them to somebody with a lighter utility trailer to recoup some of the cost.

Just got 5 GYE also. Our "old" tires only had about 800 miles. I was wondering what to ask for the 5 castle rock tires.
How mush are you asking if you dont mind me asking?
Thanks

I’m in Canada (30 minutes east of Toronto) so a totally different and much smaller market than you have in Michigan. I posted them on Kijiji (our version of Craigslist) for $50 each. If I can get $200 for the set I’ll be happy. The new GYEs were CAD$158 (US$119) each plus installation.

I sold my "Blow Maxes" immediately after buying my trailer. Actually thought they were worth something till I found out they sold new for 75 bucks apiece. I sold them all for 100 bucks. Get rid of them, and kiss them goodbye. You've just saved yourself hundreds in dollars and aggravation.
