How on earth did you get 13,000 miles on china bombs? We even get 5k on ours. Must be this hot Texas pavement.

Keep the pressure proper and roll on.
Yes heat is a big-time failure mode for tires. I've driven in snow more than 100* heat. I'm sure it helps that I'm "small" at 23' and dual axles. Not that I know the tire rating nor the load I'm putting on them.

Had tore apart the forward bench back edges. Beltsanded the wood edges and rounded them off. Recovered them with a brown suede like material vice the original vinyl I had to rip up to remove.
Installed a closet clothes pole in the lower bunk. It is easily removed.

I washed it from top to bottom. I started on the roof and worked my way down from there. I wish I had taken some before and after pics because it really looked bad before I started.

I picked up a couple of Camco XLT vent covers last week and installed them. I had been looking at them for years but just never got around to it. We went to visit my daughter who happens to work at an RV store and were able to use her employee discount to get them for about $30 each. The regular price was closer to $60 so it was almost half off!
Installation was fairly simple on the first one. The second one was a little more difficult since it's a fantastic fan and required removing the plastic cover from the inside first, then climbing up to the roof and putting the brackets on, then going back inside and putting the plastic cover back up again. Would've been easier with another person helping out but I managed it alone. Forgot to take pics of the finished project though... 
I also built a small shelf with some of the leftover wood from my deck to put over my socket set case in my basement. I typically put other tools and stuff on top of it and then when I need my sockets, I have to move all the stuff off of it first. Now I can just slide it out when I need it. Again, forgot pics... 
Maybe in a few days when we go back for the holiday weekend.

Installed Camco vent cover on fantstic fan...worried about large pine cones and small hail going right though the thin fan cover!
Headed to Shamrock Texas (Panhandle area) for a family reunion and then to Vallecito Lake Co. to base camp for 2 week vacation riding, paddle boarding, hiking and enjoying the mountains next Saturday!

Replaced axle
I replaced the rear torsion axle. The welds that attach the brackets to the axle were cracked. The original axle was an AL-KO.
The new axle arrived with the spindle ends bubble wrapped for protection. When I unwrapped them, one side had a nut, washer, and retainer but the other side did not. After getting parts from Pioneer Rim and Wheel I tried to thread the nut on the spindle but it would not go. The first thread was smashed. Thanks Dexter for shipping an item that you knew was damaged. Spent 20 minutes with a thread file to get the threads cleaned up. A little bit of frustration but probably a much faster process than if I had the dealer install it.

Just keep in mind... those squeeze sprayer heads make it easy to forget to turn off the faucet valves. Leaving them open and the not squeezing the sprayer lever can lead to the hot & cold mixing in the system and resulting in lukewarm water at other spigots in the R/V.
My cousin installed one of those for his kids to wash their feet and the kids had a habit of squirting off their feet and hanging the head on the door, never touching the faucet knobs. When they had lukewarm water in the R/V, they would have to go out and close the faucet(s).

I replaced all the bearings races and seals on my camper.
All new Timken bearings races and SKF seals
Lukas red and taky grease
and about 300 dollars in cash gone.
I hope these last longer than the Chinese crap I took out

Dropped of the TT at Freedom RV Service Center to fix all the damage from a freak dust devil that came through and blew a metal roof off one of my sheds. Hit the TT and did $3500 worth of damage including a hole in the side and sheet metal damage on the slide ☹️

Ordered the "flags to go" flag pole & holder from Amazon. Designed to use a tire to hold it in place, will use with the steel plate under the tongue jack plate. 17' collapsible fiberglass flag pole suitable for up to two 3x5' flags. Haveta dig up my Navy flag, bought a new US last year but didn't have a pole for it I do now
