Thanks for the heads up. There is a shower next to the outdoor stove/fridge/cooking area and that shower head with the sliding back and forth shutoff was a royal pain.

My cousin installed one of those for his kids to wash their feet and the kids had a habit of squirting off their feet and hanging the head on the door, never touching the faucet knobs. When they had lukewarm water in the R/V, they would have to go out and close the faucet(s).

Good tip, thanks

Canada Day Week

Enjoying a extended Canada Day Week away on Lake Huron. Arguably the best sunsets in North America on Ontario's West Coast.

Can you post a picture of the site you're on? All the pictures on the OP reservation system for Inverhuron look like they just pushed crushed gravel into the woods.

Thanks to karlrmack, I located on Amazon the "flagpoles to go ultimate tailgating kit" flagpole and flagpole base kit. Ordered it and got it in yesterday. Aluminum base with an aluminum pipe screwing onto a flat base designed to be held by your tire, will be held by my tongue jack baseplate. Telescoping aluminum pole 17'2" says suitable for two 3x5' flags. First deployment will be in two weeks. Not bad $$, ~$60.

The screws holding the tracks for the drawers worked loose and the drawers fell out during my last trip. So today, I made the repairs with stronger tracks while drinking Basil Hayden Kentucky Bourbon.

I fixed our Dometic 310 toilet with help from the forum

Today I fixed our leaking Dometic 310 toilet with a YouTube video posted on this forum. I have tried to find the location of the video to thank the author but I couldn't find it. We have had our Rockwood 8311ws for a week and the toilet was leaking and causing dried build up on the ball unit. The video showed how to correct the problem perfectly, and I completed the repair with a huge grin on my face.
Thanks to the users of this forum who answer questions and post advice. I have used other forums for our previous trailer and found information not even known by our dealer. it's so wonderful to fix it myself and save a trip to the dealer as well as the cost of the repair.
Keep up the good work!

Topped up tires AFTER I changed campgrounds.

I was playing around with my new pressure gauge/filler and let out enough air that my TPMS alarmed for low pressure. Been meaning to top them up for a while, so I pulled out the compressor and hit up the 6 trailer tires.

This was NOT the tire that alarmed. That one was down to 99psi. This new pressure gauge is pretty nice (DIYCO D3).

Wow!
Where are you located that you had to winterize in July?

Grill upgrade on stock trailer supports

Upgraded the stock grill that came with the MicroLite with the 17" Blackstone and quick connector adapter. Allows for a more versatile cooking experience outside.
